There’s no denying that there will be some talented playmakers on display during Saturday’s playoff game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.
Christian McCaffrey and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are both among the best players in the NFL right now.
Beyond those two, there are plenty of intriguing players that I gave strong consideration to when picking my favorite 49ers vs Seahawks Divisional Round props for Saturday’s game.
All NFL odds used for these 49ers vs Seahawks player props are current as of Wednesday, Jan. 14, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best 49ers vs Seahawks Player Props
Christian McCaffrey: Over 6.5 Receptions (+108) @ Seahawks
The Seahawks gave up just 3.7 yards per carry during the regular season, which was better than any other team.
Therefore, the 49ers know it’ll be tough for McCaffrey between the tackles, which is why they’re likely to get him involved in the passing game.
Of course, McCaffrey is already a big part of the passing game, so it won’t be a huge adjustment after catching six passes against the Eagles last week.
It’s also worth noting that the Seahawks allowed more receptions by opposing running backs than any other team, which is why this is my NFL pick of the day among prop bets.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Under 92.5 Receiving Yards (-113) vs 49ers
It’s hard to bet against Smith-Njigba because he’s had such a great season. But things won’t come so easily in a playoff game, especially with the San Francisco defense starting to play better.
- Get ready for this matchup with our 49ers vs Seahawks predictions.
The 49ers did a nice job against Smith-Njigba in Week 18, holding him to just 84 yards on six catches.
They will likely have a similar game plan to slow him down again and force someone else on the Seattle offense to beat them.
Brock Purdy: Over 33.5 Pass Attempts (-112) @ Seahawks
This is among my favorite options for 49ers vs Seahawks props. As mentioned, the Seahawks are great against the run, which will force the 49ers to lean on Purdy.
Granted, 33.5 pass attempts is a big number, and Purdy has only gone over that number three times in 10 games this season. However, one of those games was Week 1 against the Seahawks, who faced 35.3 pass attempts per game during the regular season, which ranked fifth-most in the league.
It’s a safe bet that the Seahawks won’t allow McCaffrey to beat them on the ground, so Purdy will have to attempt a lot of throws.

Sam Darnold: Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-122) vs 49ers
While the San Francisco defense is far from elite, there are still lingering questions about how Darnold will perform in a playoff game, which is why I’m choosing to fade him.

Keep in mind that Darnold has just one multi-touchdown game in his last four outings. He also failed to throw a touchdown pass in two games against the 49ers this season.
Since I’m expecting a close, low-scoring game, I’m not expecting Darnold to have multiple touchdown passes.
