The San Francisco 49ers (12-5) take on the Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) in a rivalry game from a couple of years ago, as the Niners try to get revenge for losing the NFC Championship Game. However, this one looks like a clear mismatch in Philadelphia’s favor.
We just saw Brock Purdy have a tough time against the Seahawks’ elite defense. Don’t be surprised if he struggles versus the Eagles as well.
Below, I’ll dive into my best 49ers vs Eagles Wild Card props for a game that could turn into a double-digit victory for the home side.
All NFL odds used for these 49ers vs Eagles player props are current as of Thursday, Jan. 8, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best 49ers vs Eagles Player Props
Brock Purdy: Under 226.5 Passing Yards (-113) @ Eagles
Brock Purdy had been tearing it up coming into Week 18, throwing for 295+ yards in three consecutive games. But once he ran into an elite Seahawks defense, he was limited to only 127 passing yards.
I’m betting we could see something similar against the Eagles, who are rounding into form, especially on defense. Since losing to the Chargers in Week 14 (ignore Week 18 with the starters benched), the Eagles have given up 31 points in three games.
We saw them sack Josh Allen five times in Week 17. Don’t be surprised if they get a similar pass rush against Purdy, causing him to stay under this number.
This is my NFL pick of the day.
Jauan Jennings: Under 45.5 Receiving Yards (-113) @ Eagles
Jauan Jennings has been rock-solid for the 49ers this season, but he’s gone under this number in five of his last six games, which makes me want to fade him on Sunday.
Since I’m betting that Purdy will struggle against the Eagles’ defense, it makes sense to add a pass-catcher to fade as well.

Part of the problem for this passing attack is that star left tackle Trent Williams (hamstring) is banged up. If he can’t play, that would be a disaster for their offense.
With that in mind, I’ll fade Jennings here for one of my best 49ers vs Eagles props.
Jalen Hurts: Over 207.5 Passing Yards (-113) vs 49ers
Jalen Hurts is averaging 201.5 passing yards per game, which is slightly below this number. However, it’s a great spot for Hurts to put up gaudy numbers, as the San Francisco defense continues to struggle.
We saw Caleb Williams torch this defense for 330 yards in a shootout back in Week 17. I can see Hurts flying over this number, especially since all we need is 208 yards.
Hurts has had some big games this season, including a 289-yard outing against the Cowboys, so the ceiling is there. Facing a struggling defense, we could see a similar performance.

A.J. Brown: Over 66.5 Receiving Yards (-114) vs 49ers
Since I’m riding with Hurts, it makes sense to add one of his pass-catchers. I’ll go with A.J. Brown because he has come on strong in the second half of the season.
In Brown’s last six games, he’s racked up 68, 95, 41, 100, 132, and 110 receiving yards. That’s the type of game log you want to see when targeting an over.

We just saw Bears rookie Luther Burden III torch this 49ers’ secondary for 138 yards and a touchdown in Week 17.
Don’t be surprised if Brown gets loose as well here.
