To close out Tuesday night’s NBA slate, the Los Angeles Clippers will host the NBA’s last unbeaten team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, with the opening tip scheduled for 11 p.m. ET.
The Thunder are 7-0 to start the season, but have several injuries to deal with. The same is true for the 3-3 Clippers, who may or may not have Kawhi Leonard and Bradley Beal available for the second half, as Beal works through a back injury and Los Angeles manages Leonard’s workload.
With all that in mind, I’ll find the NBA best bets today for this matchup.
Thunder vs Clippers Predictions

Thunder ML (-285)
At the time of writing, there more questions than answers regarding who is and isn’t playing for each team.
We don’t know how many minutes Leonard and Beal will play for the Clippers against this high-powered OKC outfit. And the Thunder could potentially be without Jaylin Williams, Ajay Mitchell, and Luguentz Dort. Fortunately, they’ll have Chet Holmgren back after he missed OKC’s most recent game.
The Thunder lead the league in NBA defensive efficiency, allowing just 103.1 points per 100 possessions, but these injuries could also slow down their offensive output, even with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the court.
Something else to consider: while the Thunder lead the league in free-throw percentage at 86%, the Clippers commit the fewest fouls per game.
I’m not entirely confident in this selection due to the uncertainty surrounding the injuries, but I’d lean toward a Thunder win and the Clippers covering. Back OKC to remain unbeaten as one of your best NBA moneyline bets tonight.
Bradley Beal: Under 10.5 Points (-130)
For one of my best NBA prop bets today, I’m taking Beal to score 10 points or fewer.
He’s averaging 6.7 points per game and has yet to score 10 points in any game this season.
Additionally, there’s a question of whether or not he’ll suit up in the second half. That doesn’t bode well for him setting a season-high in points tonight.

Chet Holmgren: Under 17.5 Points (-109)
Coming off his injury, I’ll take the Under on Holmgren’s points.
The Clippers are holding teams to 53.9% on 2-point shots, the 11th-lowest percentage in the league. Holmgren attempts about 12.8 shots per game, and of those, 6.8 are 2-point shots.
Additionally, the Clippers commit the fewest fouls per game, so Holmgren, who shoots 85.7% from the line and averages seven tries per game, could see fewer opportunities there.
The thing to watch for, though, will be his 3-point shooting. The Clippers are far worse against 3-point shots, and Holmgren is averaging six 3-point attempts per game while shooting 41.7% from beyond the arc.
It’ll be close, but between the 2-point defense and lack of fouls, I think Holmgren falls short of 18.
