To close out Week 15 of the NFL season, we have a significant game for AFC playoff implications.
The Miami Dolphins, who remain alive in the wild-card race, will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have a slim lead in the AFC North.
Below, you’ll find my three MNF best bets for Dolphins vs Steelers.
Best Monday Night Football Prop Bets for Dolphins vs Steelers
All NFL odds used for these MNF prop bets are current as of Sunday, Dec. 14, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Tua Tagovailoa: Over 195.5 Passing Yards (-112)
For my NFL pick of the day, I’m focusing on the Dolphins’ signal-caller.
This season, the Steelers have given up more than 261 passing yards per game. Additionally, 12 of 13 opposing quarterbacks have had 196 passing yards or more.
Pittsburgh primarily plays Cover-1 and Cover-3, and while Tagovailoa has 10 interceptions against those coverages, that could help his case for throwing more to make up for the turnover(s) and any points that come from them.
Malik Washington: 25+ Receiving Yards (-107)
Next up in my series of Monday Night Football props, I’m looking at one of Tagovailoa’s pass-catchers.
Over the last two games, Washington ranks second on the Dolphins in target share at 22%, catching seven of nine targets for 40 yards.

Tagovailoa has a 65.4% completion rate when throwing to Washington against Pittsburgh’s primary coverages (Cover-1 and Cover-3), and Washington has caught 17 passes for 147 yards.
He only averages 5.7 yards per catch, but again, Washington should see enough targets to rack up the catches and inch his way to 25 yards against a Steelers defense that allows 169.85 receiving yards to wide receivers, the second-most in the NFL.
D.K. Metcalf: Anytime TD (+140)
The Dolphins are allowing 0.92 receiving touchdowns per game to wide receivers this season, including at least one in four of their last five games.
Miami didn’t allow a passing score last week, but that was against the New York Jets, who had undrafted free agent Brady Cook play in relief of an injured Tyrod Taylor.
Over the Steelers’ last three games, Metcalf has a 29.1% target share, catching 15 of 25 passes for 202 yards, but no touchdowns.
He’ll get plenty of looks against the Dolphins and is a great candidate to find the end zone.
