We have an intriguing quarterback matchup for Monday Night Football when the Arizona Cardinals take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9.
Jacoby Brissett, who started in place of the injured Kyler Murray in Weeks 6 and 7, will be under center once again for Arizona after its bye week. He’ll face a Cowboys defense that has allowed the second-most yards to their opponents at 404.6 per game.
We’ll also see if Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott can bounce back from his worst performance of the season last week in Denver, where he failed to throw a touchdown pass and tossed two interceptions in a 44-24 loss to the Broncos.
Below, I’ll dig into my best MNF prop bets for Week 9, which feature both quarterbacks and a superstar tight end.
Best Monday Night Football Prop Bets for Cardinals vs Cowboys
All NFL odds used for these player props bets are current as of Monday, Nov. 3, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Dak Prescott: 260+ Passing Yards (-135)
For the first of my best bets for Monday Night Football, I’ll look to Prescott.
While the Cardinals play a mix of coverages, they play Cover-3 and Cover-4 more than anything else. Against those coverages this season, Prescott has completed 86 of 109 passes (78.9%) for 909 yards (8.3 yards per attempt), eight touchdowns, and one interception.
Not only that, but with how bad the Cowboys’ defense is, allowing 258.6 passing yards per game (second-most heading into Week 9), Prescott will have to throw early and often.
Prescott has met the mark of 260 passing yards four times this season.
Jacoby Brissett: 240+ Passing Yards (-124)
With my second Monday Night Football prop bet, I’m taking Brissett to have a nice evening passing the ball.
Brissett will get the start for the injured Kyler Murray, and he’s in for a great game. As mentioned, the Cowboys allow 258.6 passing yards per game, and in two starts this season for Murray, Brissett has thrown for 320 and 279 yards.
The Cowboys mostly play Cover-2 and Cover-3, and in his two starts against those coverages, he completed 71.1% of his passes for a respectable 7.8 yards per attempt.

Trey McBride: 70+ Receiving Yards (-117)
Finally, for the last of my best MNF prop bets, I’m looking to the Cardinals’ No. 1 pass-catcher.
In Brissett’s two starts, no player has been targeted more than McBride. He leads the team with a 32.9% target share, making him an easy pick for MNF props.
Just behind him is wide receiver Zay Jones at 27%. While I expect Jones to play, he was limited in practice this week so that he could be a bit banged up.
The Cowboys’ defense allows 51.88 yards per game to tight ends, but McBride is utilized unlike almost any other tight end in the league.
He’ll be peppered with targets once again and continue to have 70 receiving yards or more, just like he did in Weeks 6 and 7.
My Three-Leg MNF Parlay for Cardinals vs Cowboys in Week 9 (+294)
By adding the three bets above into a Same Game Parlay, you’ll get odds of +294.
If you were to wager $100 and succeed, you’d win $294.
