Last weekend, things tightened up at both ends of the Premier League table.
That sets up another weekend of important matchups.
With 10 games on the Premier League schedule from Saturday to Monday, here are the three bets I like the most.

Brighton vs Everton: Draw (+270)
Brighton has been impossible to figure out in recent weeks, drawing five of its last 10 matches across all competitions.
Somehow, the Seagulls haven’t drawn back-to-back matches during that stretch, so after a road loss to Fulham last week, Brighton’s recent pattern calls for a draw this weekend against Everton.
The Toffees aren’t exactly in scintillating form either, settling for a draw in three of their last four matches and four of their last seven.
With both teams floating around the middle of the table, there won’t be enough urgency from either side to avoid another draw.

Liverpool vs Newcastle: Under 2.5 Goals (+130)
After starting the new year with nine goals in three matches, the Newcastle attack has gone cold.
The Magpies have been shut out in their last two Premier League matches, scoring just four goals in their last five matches across all competitions, with three of those coming against PSV Eindhoven.

That doesn’t bode well for a trip to Anfield, especially since Liverpool has three clean sheets in its last six matches, including one against Arsenal.
In fairness, Newcastle has conceded just three goals in its last four matches, which should lead to a low-scoring affair against a frustratingly inconsistent Liverpool squad.
Nottingham Forest ML (+100) vs Crystal Palace
This is my soccer pick of the day because Crystal Palace is in freefall at the moment, so betting against them is the right move regardless of the opponent.
The Eagles are winless in their last 11 matches, and they don’t have a Premier League victory since Dec. 7.
While Nottingham Forest could be at a slight disadvantage after playing on Thursday, the Tricky Trees didn’t have to travel.
With Premier League road wins over Brentford and West Ham earlier this month, as well as a home draw with Arsenal, Forest should be able to handle a struggling Palace squad.
