Ole Miss vs Georgia Predictions
Score Prediction: Georgia 30, Ole Miss 26
These SEC heavyweights met on Oct. 18, with Georgia rallying past Ole Miss 43-35 behind a 17-point fourth quarter. Gunner Stockton threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns, including three to tight end Lawson Luckie, and the Bulldogs piled up 510 yards of offense.
It’s still the only blemish this season for the 12-1 Rebels, who weathered a turbulent coaching cycle to pummel American champion and Group of Five power Tulane 41-10 in their College Football Playoff opener.
Another shootout is likely, and like last time, I’m not sure the Rebels will be able to get the stops they need to hold off Georgia.
Ole Miss vs Georgia Best Bets
Ole Miss +6.5 (-112)
Lane Kiffin may be gone, but he didn’t leave the cupboards completely bare. Ole Miss is in good hands with new coach Pete Golding, and even though he is not an offensive guy, the Rebels had no issue scoring points against Tulane.
Sure, Georgia is in another weight class. Kirby Smart’s team has reached the CFP title game twice in the last four seasons and three times overall, winning back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023. And surprise, surprise: The Bulldogs are legitimate contenders yet again.

Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss was checked for a concussion in the first-round win. Assuming he’s in the clear, Ole Miss’s offense should keep humming. However, the Rebels can’t match Georgia’s depth on both sides of the ball.
While I like Georgia to win outright, I’m taking Ole Miss to keep it close in my college football pick of the day.
Over 55.5 Total Points (-112)
This is easily the highest projected total of the CFP quarterfinals, and rightfully so. The regular-season matchup was a shootout, featuring 78 points and over 850 total yards.
Both defenses will be better prepared for what to expect, but this total still buys me enough room to take over 55.5 points in one of my favorite Ole Miss vs Georgia predictions.
