With 11 games on tap for Wednesday, Nov. 5, there are ample NBA player props to choose from.
That said, there are numerous injuries across the NBA, with one of the most notable being Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards. He’s questionable for the team’s game against the New York Knicks.
Additionally, the Indiana Pacers will face the Brooklyn Nets without several players.
Below, I’ll rummage through the injury reports and list my four best NBA prop bets for tonight’s action.
NBA Player Props for Tonight (November 5)
All NBA odds used for these player props bets are current as of Wednesday, Nov. 5, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jalen Brunson: Under 27.5 Points (-122) vs Timberwolves
To lead off my NBA player props today, I’m taking the under on Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson’s points prop.
Under new head coach Mike Brown, New York has been using its rotation more often, with 11 players averaging at least 10 minutes per game. Brunson ranks third on the team, averaging 34.1 minutes per outing.
Despite not playing as much as some others, Brunson has gone over this number in five of his last six games. However, the Timberwolves’ defense has been decent so far this season, holding teams to 34.8% on 3-point shots (11th-lowest) and 55.1% on 3-point shots (15th).
Brunson finished under this mark in both games against the Timberwolves last season, giving me confidence that he falls short of 28 points tonight.
Julius Randle Over 20.5 Points (-120) @ Knicks
Sticking with the Knicks and Timberwolves, I’m taking the Over on Randle’s points at 20.5.
A major question for this game is whether Anthony Edwards will suit up despite a hamstring injury. Even if he does, I’m taking the Over with Randle here against his former team.
The 30-year-old forward is averaging 26 points per game and shooting 43.2% on 3-point shots (2.3 for 5.3). The Knicks allow teams to shoot 39.6% from 3-point range (second-highest) and 55.9% (13th) on 2-point shots.
Randle has gone over this line in five of seven games and missed out by just two points in each game he fell short.
Pascal Siakam Over 26.5 Points (-110) vs Nets
One of my best NBA prop bets on this slate is for Siakam to score at least 27 points.
The Pacers will be without Benndict Mathurin, Andrew Nembhard, Quenton Jackson, and Johnny Furphy on Wednesday night, in addition to the long-term absence of Tyrese Haliburton.
Siakam is averaging 26 points per game and has gone over this line in five of seven contests. Plus, the Nets allow teams to shoot 59.7% on 2-point shots (third-highest) and 42.9% from beyond the arc (highest).

Reed Sheppard: 8+ Points (-124) @ Grizzlies
For the last of my best NBA player props tonight, I’m looking at Houston Rockets guard Reed Sheppard.
Sheppard will face a Memphis team that’s allowing opponents to shoot 37.8% on 3-point shots thus far this season, the fifth-highest rate in the NBA. The Kentucky product has been solid from beyond the arc, shooting 41.9% and attempting no less than four tries per game.
This season, Sheppard has had eight points or more in four of six games, and now he’ll take on a team that’s vulnerable against the 3-point shot.
Additionally, the Rockets could be without Jabari Smith Jr., who averages the most 3-point attempts per game on the team, so Sheppard may have to step up and take over that role.
