There are nine games on the docket on Monday, including an NBA TV nightcap between the Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks.
The Clippers remain without Kawhi Leonard, who is dealing with an ankle sprain. Los Angeles may also be without Bradley Beal and Jordan Miller.
Those absences could certainly impact their defense, and I’ll look to take advantage of that with my NBA player prop bets tonight.

NBA First Basket Bets for Monday, November 10
All basketball odds used for tonight’s NBA first basket prop bets are current as of Monday, Nov. 10, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Pelicans vs. Suns First Basket: Devin Booker (+389)
While the Pelicans have a solid defense against the 3-point shot, that isn’t the case whatsoever against 2-point baskets. This season, New Orleans is allowing teams to shoot 63.3% on such shots.
While that percentage is down to 57.6% over the Pelicans’ last three games, that’s still tied for the sixth-highest over that span.
Booker is averaging 13.9 2-point shots per game and is shooting 54%, making him a strong option to open the scoring.
Timberwolves vs. Jazz First Basket: Julius Randle (+670)
Even with Anthony Edwards on the court, I still like Julius Randle for one of my top NBA first basket bets.
The Jazz are allowing teams to shoot 57.6% on 2-point shots this season, the fourth-highest rate in the NBA. However, over their last three games, that percentage has risen to 61.6%, which is second in the league over that stretch.
Randle averages 11.1 2-point tries per game and is shooting 61.3% on the year. He also shoots the highest percentage of any Timberwolves player, averaging at least six 2-point attempts per contest.
Lakers vs. Hornets First Basket: Miles Bridges (+780)
Without LaMelo Ball, the next player on the Hornets I’d turn to is Bridges.
Here, he’s taking on a Lakers defense that is allowing opponents to shoot 62.9% on 2-point shots over their last three games. That’s the highest percentage over that span.
Additionally, in their previous game, the Lakers faced the Atlanta Hawks, who shot 41% from three-point range.
Bridges is averaging eight 3-point attempts and 8.1 2-point shots per game, and without Ball on the floor, he’ll be even more active.
Hawks vs. Clippers First Basket: Nickeil Alexander-Walker (+640)
For this NBA first basket props wager, I’m anticipating the first basket to perhaps be from beyond the arc.
This season, Alexander-Walker leads the Hawks with 6.1 3-point tries per game. While his percentage is just 32.7%, he has been shooting much better from distance lately, connecting at a 54.5% clip over his last two games.
Over the last three games, the Clippers have allowed the highest 3-point shooting percentage (42.4%) in the league.
