Missouri is gearing up for legal online sports betting, set to go live on December 1, 2025.
Starting then, residents can access mobile and online sportsbooks across the state.
Below, you’ll find details on major operators, registration steps, and what to expect from the new market.
Is Online Sports Betting Legal in Missouri?
Online sports betting is legal in Missouri, but it isn’t fully operational just yet. Voters approved it in November 2024, and after years of stalled efforts and political delays, the state settled on a firm launch date of December 1, 2025.
From that point on, the rollout moved quickly. The Missouri Gaming Commission spent most of 2025 reviewing operators, finalizing rules, and issuing temporary licenses to brands like bet365, BetMGM, Caesars, Circa, DraftKings, Fanatics, FanDuel, Underdog, and others expected to launch on day one.
Momentum accelerated throughout 2025 as operators formed partnerships with Missouri’s professional sports teams and local casinos. DraftKings aligned with the St. Louis Blues, FanDuel partnered with St. Louis CITY SC, and Underdog secured deals with both the Royals and the Blues.
BetMGM locked in access through Century Casinos, while Fanatics partnered with Boyd Gaming for both online and retail sportsbook operations. These deals made it clear that Missouri was preparing for a full-scale, competitive launch.
By November 2025, the state opened pre-registration. Players could create accounts early, fund them, and secure promotional offers ahead of the official launch. Now it’s just a waiting game until launch day to see who goes live and which sites become the top pick for Missouri sports fans.
When Will Online Sports Betting Be Legal in Missouri?
Missouri online sports betting is technically legal, but services won’t officially launch until December 1, 2025.
The Missouri Gaming Commission has set the start date, and players must wait until sportsbooks go live to place wagers.
