Seahawks vs Packers Predictions Week 10 | NFL Pick of the Day

Last Updated: Nov 14, 2021

The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are two teams that have been atop the NFC for years, but they are having two very different seasons.

Seattle is in must-win mode, as it struggles to stay in the wild-card race. To help their cause, the 3-5 Seahawks will be getting quarterback Russell Wilson back for this game. His timing is perfect, as the next four games will be against NFC teams, with two coming from their own division.

The Packers, on the other hand, have a dominant lead in their division. Of course, there has been plenty of drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers the entire season, with even more headlines coming this past week. The earliest he can be cleared to return from the COVID-19 list is Saturday.

While all indications point to him being fine and getting cleared, we, and the Packers, will find out on short notice. For the sake of this betting preview, we will assume Rodgers is in the lineup. If he is not cleared, updates will be made to the analysis and predictions.

Without further ado, let’s dive into our Seahawks vs Packers predictions and best bets.

Please note that all odds are current as of 2 p.m. ET on Friday, November 12.

Seahawks vs Packers Prediction

Playing in arguably the toughest division in football, the Seahawks are no longer the cream of the crop out West. Following three losses in their past four games, they will be playing with a bit of desperation in this one. However, will it be enough?

Yes, Seattle will be much healthier following their bye week. However, they are still struggling to establish the run and their defense is average across the board. On top of that, Lambeau Field appears to be Wilson’s “boogie man." Including the playoffs, he is 0-6 in Green Bay, and the betting odds are predicting he drops to 0-7 for his career.

As for the Packers, the injuries continue to stack up, though they will be getting a couple of players back this week. Yes, Rodgers is expected to be cleared Saturday, meaning he can play in this game. The Packers will also likely be getting All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari back, which is a massive addition to an offensive line that has made its fair share of mistakes.

Defensively, the Packers’ injuries continue to stack up, and one has to wonder if this will be the first game this season where they allow a 300-yard passer. However, that won’t matter. An angry Rodgers is a scary Rodgers, and he is not a happy camper right now.

Prediction: Packers 27, Seahawks 20

Seahawks vs Packers Best Bets

Best Bet: Packers -3.5 (+100) at Caesars

Wager: 1 Unit

As stated above, Wilson is 0-6 at Lambeau Field for his career. Rodgers is also extremely motivated to shut absolutely everyone up this week. He gets a healthy wide receiver corps back together, finally, which means the entire playbook is back in play.

Seattle doesn’t have an answer for Davante Adams, as shown by him totaling 160 or more receiving yards the past two times he faced them. This Packers offense is going to be rolling as a result, and it should be another solid day for those backing the Packers.

Green Bay is 8-1 against the spread this season, which is the best in the NFL. Obviously, the loss was the Week 1 fiasco against the Saints, so they have covered the spread the past two months.

Best Bet: Under 49 (-110) at Caesars

Wager: 1 Unit

Both of these teams have seen the Under hit consistently this season. The game total for Seattle is 1-6-1 this season, with the one Over being the overtime game against the Titans. As for the Packers, their game total record is 2-7. The Packers’ defense has played well, and they will be fueled by the energy of a rowdy Lambeau crowd on Sunday.
