Two of the NFL’s most powerful offenses will square off in Week 2 with the Tennessee Titans traveling out west to battle the Seattle Seahawks.
The Titans will try to bounce back after getting pulverized by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. Tennessee struggled on both sides of the ball and was unable to contain Kyler Murray, resulting in a 38-13 defeat.
The Seahawks, on the other hand, looked phenomenal during their 28-16 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. After taking care of business on the road, they’ll look to keep rolling in their home opener on Sunday.

Titans vs Seahawks Prediction
While I don’t believe the Titans are as bad as they looked in Week 1, I also don’t think they are as good as the Seahawks. The main difference is on defense, where Seattle has a clear advantage over Tennessee’s lackluster unit.
Both of these offenses are incredibly explosive, however. The Seahawks are loaded with Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Chris Carson, while the Titans have tons of firepower with Ryan Tannehill, A.J. Brown, Julio Jones, and Derrick Henry.
With neither side particularly strong on D, this game figures to be one of the highest-scoring matches of the week. It’ll be a slugfest, but I expect Seattle to prevail based on its home-field advantage and superior defense.
Prediction: Seahawks 34, Titans 27

Best Bet: Seahawks -6 (-110) at BetMGM
After the spread opened at 3.5, the Seahawks have quickly moved to -6 as the public hammers away at Seattle. Fading the public is usually a good idea, but the new line still feels reasonable to me. Continue to monitor our NFL gameday odds in case anything changes on that front, but the Seahawks are the better team and are more than capable of winning by at least a touchdown.
Best Bet: Over 54 Total Points (-110) at BetMGM
As previously mentioned, these two offenses are electric and can put points on the board in a hurry. Neither defense will be up to the task, especially Tennessee’s after surrendering 38 points to Arizona. In a game where both sides could surpass 30 points, I’m taking the Over all day long here.
Best Bet: Seahawks Moneyline (-275) at BetMGM
While these odds are a lot to lay down, I like Seattle enough in this game to take them. I normally avoid suggesting picks with so much juice attached, but the Seahawks are worth it.
