Bengals vs Buccaneers Predictions & Odds

Last Updated: Dec 13, 2022

The reeling 6-7 Buccaneers will host the red-hot 9-4 Bengals on Sunday afternoon.

Winners of seven of their past eight games, including five straight, the Bengals are heating up at the right time.

The same cannot be said for the Buccaneers, who have lost two of their past three, including last week’s 35-7 blowout at the hands of the 49ers.

Can the Bengals maintain their winning streak? Find out in my Cincinnati vs Tampa Bay best bets and betting tips for NFL Week 15.

Bengals vs Buccaneers Odds

The Bengals are 3.5-point road favorites as of Tuesday afternoon at Caesars Sportsbook. If this game was being played in Cincinnati, this number would be closer to seven.

Even playing at home, the oddsmakers are not giving Tom Brady and his Bucs any sort of an edge, nor should they.

Take a look at the best Bengals odds and Buccaneers odds for the 2022 NFL season.

Bengals vs Buccaneers Implied Totals

Bengals 23.75, Buccaneers 20.25

The Bengals are averaging 25.8 ppg while the Buccaneers are at 17.2. While both defenses are playing well, Tampa Bay’s defense is beginning to wear down, and has been getting exposed by superior offenses.

Bengals vs Buccaneers Prediction

Bengals 26, Buccaneers 17

With both Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Mixon healthy, this Bengals offense is firing on all cylinders. And that’s with injuries to Hayden Hurst, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, who are all considered day-to-day.

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are more banged up defensively at the moment. They’ve dealt with injuries on both sides of the ball since the preseason.

Outside of a win over the Seahawks, the Bucs have struggled against teams with a winning record. This will likely be the case on Sunday. Pound-for-pound, the Bengals are the superior team in all phases, including quarterback.

At this juncture, Joe Burrow over Tom Brady is not a hot take.

Bengals vs Buccaneers Bet Tips

Here are a few Bengals vs Buccaneers betting trends to consider before making your bets:

  • The Bengals are 4-0 against the spread in their last four December games.
  • The Buccaneers are 1-9-1 in their past 11 games.
  • The Bengals have won seven of their past eight games, including five straight.
  • The Bengals have covered the spread in nine of their past 10 games, including five straight.

Bengals vs Buccaneers Best Bets

Bengals -3.5 (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

This game features two opposite teams when it comes to NFL point-spread betting. The Buccaneers are 1-9-1 in their past 11 games ATS, while the Bengals have covered in 9-of-10 and five straight.

While the Buccaneers may put up a better fight than they did last week against the 49ers, look for the Bengals to win this game and cover with ease.

Under 44 Points (-110) at Caesars Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

If the Buccaneers have done anything right this season, it’s play good defense. While it did not show last week, they should tighten up against Cincy on Sunday.

I do expect points to be scored, but more so on the Bengals’ end of the equation. This game will fall just under 44 points.

While the Under has hit in the past three Bengals’ games, the Under is also 4-1 in the past five games the Buccaneers have played.
