Last Updated: Jan 14, 2022

After a week of growing anticipation, the 2022 NFL Playoffs finally kick off on Saturday afternoon.

Wild Card Weekend will provide six exciting contests, including a first ever playoff game on Monday Night Football, and has already offered NFL bettors a slate full of value and opportunity.

With everyone eager to get in on the action, we’ve already seen some significant line movement as we head into the weekend.

Here’s the latest line movement and sharp action that we’ve been tracking.

All NFL Wild Card Round odds and lines are current as of 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday, January 14, and provided by TwinSpires Sportsbook (unless otherwise specified).

There have been short periods where we’ve seen a Cincinnati -4.5 or -5 line pop, but Bengals money has quickly come in after to send the line back to its resting place at -5.5.

The total initially opened at 49 points and was initially bet up to 49.5, before sharp money came in to push it down to its current line at 48.5.

The Over is currently seeing 64 percent of the bets, but the Under is getting 86 percent of the money.

Bills vs Patriots Line Movement

Over/Under43.5 (-110)44 Over (-108), Under (-113)
Implied ScoreBills 24, Patriots 19.5Bills 24.25, Patriots 19.75

While this line doesn’t look a whole lot different than it did on Sunday, we have seen the Patriots get a bit of sharp action that has occasionally pushed the spread to Bills -4.

The Over is also attracting some sharp action as it is seeing 67 percent of the money and 52 percent of the bets coming in on the total.

Buccaneers vs Eagles Line Movement

Bucs vs EaglesOpening Lines (1/9)Latest Lines (1/14)
MoneylineBucs (-420), Eagles (+310)Bucs (-375), Eagles (+310)
SpreadBucs -8.5 (-110), Eagles +8.5 (-110)Bucs -8.5 (-112), Eagles +8.5 (-109)

Implied ScoreBuccaneers 28.75, Eagles 20.25Buccaneers 27, Eagles 18.5

This spread has generally stayed steady with the Buccaneers inserted as 8.5-point favorites over the Eagles, however, Philadelphia money has come in whenever a +9 has popped.

Tampa Bay is certainly a public favorite, attracting 61 percent of the overall bets, but the Eagles are getting 82 percent of the money.

BEST BET: Eagles +8.5 (-109)

It’s never really fun betting against Tom Brady in the postseason, but the Eagles are the healthier team at the moment and have a dynamic quarterback in Jalen Hurts that can keep this game close.

Philadelphia’s run-first offense will look to grind the clock on sustained drives and as long as the defense can get some pressure on Brady with its front four and make a few stops, I think the Eagles can sneak in this number.

Cowboys vs 49ers Line Movement

Cowboys vs 49ersOpening Lines (1/9)Latest Lines (1/14)
MoneylineCowboys (-162), 49ers (+125)Cowboys (-152), 49ers (+125)

Over/Under49.5 (-110)51: Over (-109), Under (-112)
Implied ScoreCowboys 26.5, 49ers 23Cowboys 27, 49ers 24

The shortest spread of the week saw the Cowboys open as 3.5-point favorites against the 49ers, but that margin has been narrowed even further during the week.

San Francisco is currently getting 60 percent of the bets and 80 percent of the money, despite being the road underdog in Dallas.

Chiefs vs Steelers Line Movement

Chiefs vs SteelersOpening Lines (1/9)Latest Lines (1/14)
MoneylineChiefs (-715), Steelers (+500)Chiefs (-770), Steelers (+525)

Over/Under46.5 (-110)46: Over (-113), Under (-108)
Implied ScoreChiefs 29.5, Steelers 17Chiefs 29.25, Steelers 16.75

The Kansas City Chiefs are the biggest favorites on the board this Wild Card Weekend, but Steelers money has made its way into the market anytime the spread has reached 13 points.

In this game, it’s the total that’s seen the more significant action so far, as the sharp money has pounded the Under.

Overall, 67 percent of the bets are coming in the Over, but 71 percent of the money is on the Under.

BEST BET: Under 46 Total Points (-108)

There’s certainly an expectation of points whenever the Kansas City Chiefs are involved, but this game isn’t a lock to light up the scoreboard.

These two teams combined for exactly 46 points when they met in the regular season, however, that only happened because Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin insisted on kicking a field goal down 30-0 in the third quarter.

The potential for another one-sided blowout certainly helps the Under, as Pittsburgh would opt to go for it instead of taking the points in a must-win game and the Chiefs could be quick to pull their starters if they get out to another 30-point lead.

If T.J. Watt and the Steelers defense can make a few plays to slow Kansas City down a bit, this game should go under comfortably.

Rams vs Cardinals Line Movement

Rams vs CardinalsOpening Lines (1/9)Latest Lines (1/14)
MoneylineRams (-200), Cardinals (+160)Rams (-200), Cardinals (+165)
SpreadRams -4.5 (-107), Cardinals +4.5 (-114)Rams -4 (-112), Cardinals +4 (-109)

Implied ScoreRams 27.5, Cardinals 23Rams 26.75, Cardinals 22.75

The opening line for the first Monday Night Football game in NFL postseason history has dipped slight, with the Cardinals attracting just over 50 percent of the bets and the money.

The total has dipped a point since Sunday, which has attracted sharp action on the Over.

The number of tickets on the total are relatively evenly split, but 88 percent of the money is coming in on the Over.
