Jaguars vs Browns Predictions & Best Bets

Last Updated: Dec 6, 2023

In a potential battle between backup quarterbacks, the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Cleveland to face off against the Browns. Both teams have been successful to this point in the season but are coming off of losses, with their playoff standing at risk if they drop another.

In what sportsbooks expect to be a low-scoring affair, let’s take a closer look at some of the best value for the NFL Week 14 odds.

Jaguars vs Browns Odds

NFL odds used for this Jacksonville vs Cleveland preview were found at Fanduel Sportsbook and are current as of Dec. 5 at 12 PM EST.

  • Moneyline: Browns (-174) • Jaguars (+146)
  • Spread: Browns -3 (-115) • Jaguars +3 (-105)
  • Total Points: Over 30.5 (-110) • Under 30.5 (-110)
  • Implied Score: Browns 16.5, Jaguars 13.5

Jaguars vs Browns Predictions

Score Pick: Jaguars 24, Browns 21

Despite coming off of a loss on Monday night, the Jaguars have found some offensive rhythm that should help them close out the season. While the Browns have a strong defense, their offense is still limited in terms of upside while working with Joe Flacco under center.

This outcome could hinge on the health and status of Trevor Lawrence, though. The passer suffered a high ankle sprain that caused him to miss the final drives of the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jaguars vs Browns Best Bets & Props

Both Teams to Score 10+ Points (-165)

bet365 Sportsbook • WAGER: 2 units

For the NFL bet of the day, take a look at Bet365’s prop, where both teams can score 10 or more to hit. Both offenses have some questions at quarterback, but the passing game comes with plenty of weapons in the supporting cast, so both teams should be able to outproduce this number.

The Jaguars give up 21.6 PPG this season, while the Browns allow 20.4. Even going under the average easily covers here.

Jaguars Over 13.5 (-110)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

This number is down a solid chunk because CJ Beathard is the presumed starting quarterback, but Trevor Lawrence could still find his way back onto the field for Sunday’s game, making this line more interesting.

Even without him, the Jaguars offense was able to get going quickly against the Bengals. There should be enough confidence in him to put up 14 or more here against the Browns.

Joe Flacco Over 203.5 Passing Yards (-114)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

In his first game as the starter, Flacco passed for 254 yards on 44 attempts last week.

While the game plan changes in a closer game, it’s clear the Browns are willing to let him pass as needed. The Browns should get him enough attempts to surpass this number and comfortably cover.

Jaguars vs Browns Same Game Parlay

Jaguars vs Browns SGP (+315)

FanDuel Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

  • Jaguars (+146)
  • Over 30.5 (-110)
  • Jaguars Over 13.5 (-110)

Rolling with the Jaguars here can be the value play because should Trevor Lawrence be cleared to play, the odds will shift drastically. Even so, both teams are without their primary quarterback, so this contest remains tight.

Expect the Jaguars to lean heavily on Travis Etienne as a runner and in the open field as a receiver. If he can produce, Jacksonville should be able to go out on the road and steal this one.

While both defenses have some good qualities, the offensive production seemed competent enough to outscore this low-point total. So, adding the over onto this parlay looks like a good move.
