The Milwaukee Bucks managed to hold serve in Milwaukee, sending the NBA Finals back to Phoenix tied at two games apiece. Now, we have an all-important Game 5 that will end with one team on the brink of elimination. We also have plenty of wagering opportunities to consider for Saturday night — here are some of my favorites below.
Bucks vs Suns Game 5 Prop Bets: 2021 NBA Finals Game 5 Prop Betting Picks
Bucks vs Suns Game 5 Player Prop Bets
Khris Middleton Over 4.5 Assists (-155)
With Middleton exploding for 40 points in Game 4, he finished with just four assists. However, he had tallied at least five assists in seven of his previous eight games, including 14 total assists in Games 2 and 3 combined. With how often he has the ball in his hands, the pick-and-roll action that the Bucks like to run with him and Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the heavy dose of minutes that he plays, look for Middleton to hit the over in Game 5.
Jrue Holiday Under 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105)
Holiday shot a career-high 50.3 percent from the field during the regular season, but has largely gone cold when it’s mattered the most. He’s shot just 40.6 percent during the postseason, including an ugly 33.3 percent in the NBA Finals thus far. His underwhelming scoring numbers have resulted in him registering fewer than 30 combined points, rebounds, and assists in three of the four games this series. His struggles have been even more pronounced on the road during the postseason, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see that trend continue with Game 5 being played in Phoenix.
Deandre Ayton Over 1.5 Blocks + Steals (-185)
Ayton didn’t exactly dominate on the defensive end during the regular season, averaging 0.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. However, it’s also noteworthy that he averaged less than 31 minutes per game. During the playoffs, his workload has increased to 36 minutes per game, which has helped him generate at least two combined steals and blocks in eight of the last nine games. He even reached that total in Game 3 when he was limited to 24 minutes because of foul trouble, so look for him to make an impact on the defensive end again in Game 5.
Jae Crowder Over 18.5 Points + Rebounds (-105)
Crowder might not be a big name, but he’s the kind of key role player that helps get a team through a lengthy playoff run. He’s a tough defender who can guard multiple positions and he’s a dangerous option from behind the arc. Add in his rebounding prowess and he’s totaled at least 19 points and rebounds in four of the last five games. He logged at least 32 minutes in each of those contests as well and should continue to receive plenty of playing time, especially with Dario Šarić (knee) still out.

2021 NBA Finals Game 5 Prop Bets
Second Half (incl. OT) Most Points Scored (-185)
These two teams have combined for more points in the second half in all four games of this series. They have generally started off slowly in the first quarter, while also coming out of halftime firing with high-scoring third quarters. I’ll bank on that pattern continuing in Game 5.
Winning Margin: Suns By 6-10 Points (+360)
The Phoenix Suns almost pulled out the road victory in Game 4, but late foul trouble for Devin Booker and some shaky defense in the final minutes sent them back home with things all tied up. As disappointing as that finish was, they played extremely well in the first two games in Phoenix, so look for them to bounce back and win Game 5.
The question is, by how much? They won the first two games by 13 and 10 points, respectively. The Bucks have made some adjustments, though, and the Suns having to play small when Ayton needs a rest has made things a little more difficult for them. Expect this to be a closer contest than the first two games — especially with the Bucks coming off back-to-back wins — but Phoenix should still be able to win without it coming down to the final few seconds.
