NFL Black Friday Odds 2023

Last Updated: May 24, 2023

In what will be the inaugural Black Friday game in the NFL, the New York Jets will host the Miami Dolphins on November 24, at 3 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.

You have to admire the shrewd marketing tie-in for Amazon to promote themselves on Black Friday, but it’s a good fit for the NFL as well. For a league so savvy, this marriage on the gridiron seems to be working well for all involved.

Here is the current NFL betting line for the 2023 Black Friday game.

Black Friday NFL Game

Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets (3 p.m. ET)

Dolphins +2.5 (-105) @ Jets -2.5 (-115)

Fans will get to enjoy Thanksgiving leftovers with an AFC East clash where the Jets find themselves to be the early home favorite. New York finished 1-2 ATS in that position in 2022.

The addition of Aaron Rodgers is clearly making a big impact on the odds ahead of the 2023 season, but are the Dolphins being discounted after big strides in its first season from Mike McDaniel‘s leadership?

The Dolphins finished 4-2 ATS as the away underdog. This team was fueled by a potent passing attack with Tua Tagovailoa at the helm and Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on the flanks.

In the offseason, Miami made big changes to their defense, including trading for Jalen Ramsey, signing David Long Jr., DeShon Elliott, and Malik Reed. They may not all be household names, but they should help overhaul a defense held down by Christian Wilkins and ranked No. 11 in our defense power rankings.

The Jets have the better defense, ranked No. 3 in those aforementioned defense power rankings. Anchored by Sauce Gardner, you also can’t forget about C.J. Mosley, Quinnen Williams, and Will McDonald IV, the No. 15 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

What fans will be watching is Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall ball out. Hall is on track for a Week 1 return and Wilson could explode with the consistency from the quarterback position now that Rodgers is under center.

This won’t be a blowout, but the Jets will carry victory by more than a touchdown.
