NFL Survivor Week 10 Rankings

Last Updated: Nov 8, 2023

On one hand, Week 10 features one of the biggest favorites of the NFL season. On the other, the rest of the NFL Survivor slate is a bit of a grab bag.

Such is life in the week-to-week Survivor grind. The Dallas Cowboys will be an overwhelmingly popular choice, and we’ll get to them. But the rest of the board requires much deeper thought and dissection.

Here’s a breakdown of NFL Week 10. As always, survive and advance.

Survivor Week 10 Best Picks

Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants

We’re stating the obvious, but it cannot be avoided: There is this football game and everything else in this week’s slate.

The Cowboys indeed botched an opportunity to beat the Eagles on Sunday. Although QB Dak Prescott played well, his inability to get rid of the ball on Dallas’ final drive might have cost his team the game.

The Cowboys are indeed a story, although they are not the story. The New York Giants are banged up, bad and likely don’t have an immediate fix in sight.

The loss of QB Daniel Jones for the season is a crushing blow for a team that hasn’t found a rhythm. For this game, it will play a significant role as well.

This is a matchup nightmare for the Giants. The offensive line has issues, and the Dallas pass rush is a force.

We don’t have to overthink this one. It’s one of the safest bets all year.

Buffalo Bills vs Denver Broncos

Given the Buffalo Bills’ performance on Sunday night, it speaks volumes that this is the second choice of the week.

The Bills have issues across the board. The defense is banged up, and the offense hasn’t looked quite right. QB Josh Allen seems to be battling through a shoulder injury, which could explain why such a potent offense has struggled in certain situations.

At home, however, things should be different, especially against this team.

The Denver Broncos have shown some life in recent weeks. Last week, they enjoyed a bye. Before that, they beat the Kansas City Chiefs by double-digits at home.

Although recent performances might convince many to not back the Bills, home field is just an important piece of this puzzle. While Buffalo looks off, Denver will not manufacture enough points to make this a game.

Survivor Week 10 Sleeper

Chicago Bears vs Carolina Panthers

For NFL Draft fans, this is certainly a football game. Oh, and it will be played on Thursday night in front of the entire football world. Neither team is very good, and the Chicago Bears hold both teams’ draft picks for next year.

If it sounds like we’re grasping at straws to make this game interesting, that’s because we are. And yet, the Bears are a playable team this week when it comes to Survivor.

Chicago lost to New Orleans on Sunday, turning the ball over five times. Despite the turnovers, the Bears were still in that game.

While Justin Fields remains a question mark each week, Tyson Bagent is capable. Given the Carolina Panther’s offensive woes, it really won’t matter.

The Panthers are lost at the moment, and rookie QB Bryce Young isn’t there yet. Chicago wins an ugly football game.

Survivor Week 10 Team to Save for the Future

Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns

In terms of point spread, the Baltimore Ravens look like one of the better plays on the board.

They’ve won four games, they’re playing at home, and they’re taking on a team that they should be able to overmatch.

But the Cleveland Browns have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and that’s enough to at least give some pause about this one. Plus, QB Deshaun Watson might be getting healthy, and his presence could change the way this offense runs.

While there aren’t a surplus of great options on the board, this is one worth staying away from. Cleveland has shown enough in recent weeks to put this result in doubt.

In a pinch, Baltimore is a reasonable play. But we’re pocketing this one for now.

Survivor Week 10 Chalk Team That Could Lose

San Francisco 49ers @ Jacksonville Jaguars

For a good part of the year, the San Francisco 49ers were one of the most dependable teams in the Survivor space.

At the moment, however, San Francisco is a shell of the team that showed such promise. Injuries on offense have certainly played a role in this regression, as has the inconsistent play of QB Brock Purdy.

On the road against a legitimate opponent, this simply doesn’t feel like a team that can be trusted for the time being.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, meanwhile, have quietly won five consecutive games. They haven’t exactly beat a lineup of tremendous teams, but they have balance on both sides of the ball.

At home, the Jaguars are live (slight) underdogs. Trevor Lawrence has the ability to pull this one off, and his team could completely reset expectations as a result.
