Ole Miss vs Georgia Predictions

Last Updated: Nov 6, 2023

The one-loss No. 9 Ole Miss is one of the few remaining contenders for this year’s College Football Playoff, but a visit to No. 2 Georgia this Saturday could change that.

The reigning national champions are favored by 11 and haven’t lost a regular-season game since November 7, 2020. Georgia remains one of the favorites to win the 2024 CFB National Championship.

Read on for Ole Miss Rebels vs. Georgia Bulldogs college football picks and predictions for Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m. ET.

  • Spread: Georgia -11 (-110) • Ole Miss +11 (-110)
  • Total Points: Over 59 (-110) • Under 59 (-110)

The sportsbooks are seeing this as a high-scoring clash between SEC powers, but they expect the home squad to pull away with an interesting number of 11 set as the spread.

Ole Miss vs Georgia Prediction

SCORE PICK: Georgia 37, Ole Miss 30

Things are getting real for Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs after a relaxed start to the season.

A ranked Missouri squad came into Athens and gave Georgia their first minor scare in a while, trimming the fourth quarter down to three points until a pair of late Bulldogs field goals secured the victory.

Georgia only outgained Mizzou by 22 yards, and had they not won the turnover battle two to nothing, we could have been talking about a major upset.

Conversely, Ole Miss comes into this one red-hot in the midst of a five game win streak in which they’ve won every fathomable way – a home shootout against LSU, a grinder on the road at Auburn; you name it, these Rebels have done it, and they’ve grown a lot in the process.

A loss to Alabama put them on the right path, especially quarterback Jaxson Dart, who has seriously turned it on since that defeat.

This is still Georgia playing at home, but the rigor of their schedule is going to start creeping up on them.

The Bulldogs will find a way to win, but they’ll have trouble halting the Rebels’ offense – perhaps the best they’ve faced so far.

Ole Miss vs Georgia Best Bets

Ole Miss +11 (-110)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

Once bemoaned as a major liability, the Ole Miss defense has come along really nicely, even as the team has dug into their conference schedule in an offensively-charged SEC.

They rank 43rd in EPA per play, which is not quite elite but likely good enough to slow down the Georgia offense without star tight end Brock Bowers – and definitely better than the ‘Dawgs see most weeks.

The Georgia defense is definitely a great unit, but after another year of losing tons of talent to the NFL Draft, the attrition is starting to show.

The defense for Georgia actually grades a bit worse, ranking 15th in per-play EPA compared to sixth for the offense. They won’t get run over, but the high-powered Lane Kiffin offense should muster enough points to stay in this thing.

Over 59 (-110)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit

Both of these offenses are quick by nature. Georgia has moved to a pass-first attack this season, especially when it’s not blowing out the other team. Ole Miss, meanwhile, likes to run but still has the 12th-fastest offense in the country, as it only uses 22.7 seconds per snap.

Wideout Ladd McConkey’s return from injury has been tremendously important for Georgia and quarterback Carson Beck with Bowers out.

The Ole Miss offense runs through lead back Quinshon Judkins more than anyone else, and he’s already scored 12 times on his way to another thousand-yard season.

With plenty of talent on both offenses, this one should feature enough scoring to get over the total.

Ole Miss vs Georgia Same-Game Parlay

Ole Miss vs Georgia SGP (+450)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 0.5 units

  • Georgia (-500)
  • Over 59 (-110)
  • Ole Miss +11 (-110)

If you really believe in every facet of this handicap, this is the play for you.

It grabs a bunch of value by nailing down the exact interval of a Georgia win by a margin between one and 10 points, which gives you a huge odds increase compared to pairing either the spread or the moneyline with the total rather than both.

If you want a bit less risk, you could just take Georgia and the Over to boost your odds on the Bulldogs’ heavily juiced line, but this same-game parlay gives you some serious upside.
