The Gaels will take on Indiana, who won their play-in game against Wyoming. The Hoosiers went to the semifinals in the Big Ten Tournament and have former NBA coach Mike Woodson at the helm. They also have a star in forward Trayce Jackson-Davis, who logged 29 points against Wyoming.

Saint Mary’s ranked 16th in KenPom, finishing 63rd on offense and ninth on defense. Indiana placed 36th in KenPom thanks to a stout defense that ranked 21st.
The Hoosiers could cause some problems for the Gaels. Jackson-Davis is playing terrific basketball of late, averaging over 25 points during their conference tourney run.
Whenever you’re looking at a potential upset, you want a team with a player who can single-handedly change the outcome of a game. Jackson-Davis fits the bill with how well he’s playing right now.
