Mavericks vs Jazz Player Props For Game 6 | Best Prop Bets

Last Updated: Apr 28, 2022

We finally got Luka Doncic back for this series, and now Donovan Mitchell suffers a hamstring injury. While the tests came back negative and he should play in Game 6, does he have enough to defend his home court and force a Game 7?

The injury to Mitchell also throws a wrench into the player props for this series once again. Now, we have Mavericks props listed early, but it will be tough to find player props for the Jazz until there is more clarity around their star player.

Still, there are many NBA player props to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Western Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Wednesday, April 27, at 4 p.m. ET.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 6 Player Props

Luka Doncic, Mavericks: To Record Double-Double (-160)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Jazz have had no answers for Doncic defensively. Now, with Mitchell hindered by his hamstring injury, it doesn’t seem like the team defense on Doncic is going to get any better.

Doncic scored 30 and 33 points in Games 4 and 5, respectively. He also grabbed 10 and 13 rebounds in those games. With the possibility of Utah’s offense being even less efficient in this game, the opportunity for rebounds could rise even more for Doncic.

On the other hand, if Utah is putting together a great offensive game, it will push Dallas to pick up the pace, leading to more assists for Doncic, who averaged 8.7 this season.

However he hits this prop, make it your NBA bet of the day.

Jalen Brunson, Mavericks: OVER 20.5 Points (-110)

WAGER: 2 Units

Speaking of having no answers, the Jazz haven’t been able to stop Jalen Brunson, either. Through five games, he has averaged 28.6 points. He still put up 23 and 24 points in games with Doncic, too, showing he can still produce alongside the Dallas star.

It’s also not a case where Brunson is putting up outliers in efficiency. He’s getting to take as many shots as he would like right now, putting up 20 or more shots in all but one game this series.

Jalen Brunson, Mavericks: OVER 23.5 Points + Assists (-120)

WAGER: 2 Units

This is essentially the same prop as the one above. Brunson should be able to go over this total on points alone, but he also gets assists.

For the season, Brunson averaged 4.8 assists per game. In this series, he has averaged 4.6 per game, and he’s dished three and four in the games Doncic has played.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 6 Game Props

First Quarter Total: UNDER 54 Points (-115)

WAGER: 2 Units

The point totals for this series have been a bit weird, and we don’t necessarily need to bet the total for the entire game. However, the point total for the first quarter continues to go under for this series, and the prop is set a couple of points higher for Game 6.

No first quarter in this series has had a total above 48 points. Lean hard on the Under here.

PREVIOUSLY: Mavericks vs Jazz Game 5 Props

We finally have Luka Doncic back in this series between the Utah Jazz and the Dallas Mavericks. From a betting point of view, there is now less uncertainty, which we can use to our benefit. It should also lead to NBA player props for both teams getting posted earlier than before.

However, despite Doncic making his return, it didn’t lead to the Mavericks getting a road victory. Instead, they head back to Dallas with the series even, 2-2. It’s now a best-of-three, and the best players will need to step up in order for their team to move on.

There are many NBA player props to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Western Conference game.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 5 Player Props

Rudy Gobert, Jazz: OVER 1.5 Blocks (-130)

WAGER: 2 Units

Game 3 was the first Mavericks vs Jazz matchup this season with Rudy Gobert active where he didn’t block multiple shots. He finished with only one block, and a big reason for this was the success Dallas was experiencing on the perimeter. Assuming Utah locks down the shooters a bit better in Game 5, then Gobert’s upside for blocks goes up.

With him blocking multiple shots in five of his seven matchups with Dallas this season, the trends certainly point to Gobert getting back on track in Game 5.

Donovan Mitchell, Jazz: OVER 0.5 Steals (-220)

WAGER: 1 Unit

This prop is not me saying Donovan Mitchell is such a good defender that we need to take the Over on his steals prop. Rather, Doncic turns the ball over so much that we need to take advantage of his presence on the floor.

It may be Mike Conley poking the ball away, or maybe someone gets in the passing lane and disrupts the pass, but Mitchell will be there to grab the ball and look to start the fast break.

Last game, Doncic had four turnovers while Mitchell had two steals. Mitchell only had one total steal in the previous three games despite averaging 1.5 steals per game this season.

Maxi Kleber, Mavericks: OVER Threes (TBD)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Hopefully, we can use last game to our advantage. Maxi Kleber played only 18 minutes and shot 1-4 from downtown. If we’re lucky, his three-point prop will drop to Over/Under 1.5, though I would take the Over on 2.5 as well.

He should see more playing time to stretch the floor and create space for Doncic and Jalen Brunson. With Gobert staying down low, this will make for open shots on the perimeter for Kleber and others. In front of a rowdy home crowd, Kleber should be able to use this energy to convert on more of these chances in Game 5.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 5 Game Props

First Quarter Total: Under 51.5 Points (-115)

WAGER: 2 Units

It’s the fifth game in a row between these two teams and they are switching venues once again, so Game 5 could begin to show a little bit of fatigue on some players, which could lead to shots coming up short. However, this is a prop that has consistently hit during this series.

No first quarter in this series has had a total above 48 points. In fact, the average across the four games has been 46.25 points.

Despite Luka Doncic not making his return, the Dallas Mavericks surprisingly took care of business on the road in Game 3, taking a 2-1 lead in the series over the Jazz. Of course, some think this could have bought Doncic more time, leading to his status again being cloudy for Game 4 in Utah.

Clearly, his presence on or off the court makes a massive difference in terms of player performances from the Mavericks. Because of this, we don’t have betting odds for player props in this game, currently. However, with their backs getting close to the wall, the Jazz will need to step up their game and tie the series before hitting the road, which could make for some fireworks.

There are many NBA player props to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Western Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Friday, April 22, at 4 p.m. ET.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 4 Player Props

Donovan Mitchell, Jazz: OVER 29.5 Points (-115)

WAGER: 2 Units

The prop line for Donovan Mitchell’s points continues to be set under 30 points for no reason. If it is under 30 once again, we will continue to bet the Over.

In this series, Mitchell has put up point totals of 32, 34, and 32. This means Mitchell has scored 30 or more points in 10 of his past 11 postseason games. He turns his play up to another level in the postseason, and we are seeing him eclipse 30 points consistently, regardless of the game result.

In a must-win game, he will go over 30 points once again.

Rudy Gobert, Jazz: OVER 1.5 Blocks (-140)

WAGER: 2 Units

Game 3 was the first Mavericks vs Jazz matchup this season with Rudy Gobert active where he didn’t block multiple shots. He finished with only one block, and a big reason for this was the success Dallas was experiencing on the perimeter.

Assuming Utah locks down the shooters a bit better in Game 4, then Gobert’s upside for blocks goes up.

With him blocking multiple shots in five of his six matchups with Dallas this season, the trends certainly point to Gobert getting back on track in Game 4.

Maxi Kleber, Mavericks: OVER Made Threes (TBD)

WAGER: 1 Unit

This prop can be played in a way to hedge your bet with the Gobert blocks. The only way Gobert goes under is if Maxi Kleber is having a bunch of success on the perimeter once again. However, it’s very possible both of these bets hit as well.

Take Game 2, for example. Gobert blocked two shots while Kleber buried eight shots from downtown. We know Gobert isn’t going to follow Kleber out to the perimeter, at least effectively, which opens up opportunities for open shots. This is why he buried four more shots from beyond the arc last game.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 4 Game Props

Jazz Total Points: Over 108.5 (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Jazz have scored at least 114 points in all of their home matchups with Dallas this year (including regular season), and Game 4 should have a similar result. This offense is too good to fall short of this mark.

PREVIOUSLY: Mavericks-Jazz Game 3 Props

Through two games of this Western Conference series between the Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz, we have already seen some massive performances. With the possibility of Luka Doncic returning for this game, this is the perfect time to be betting on NBA player props.

However, because the status of Doncic is a mystery, we are still waiting for player props on the Dallas side of things. We do have player props for the Jazz players, and we could be getting a discount because of the pending Doncic news.

There are many NBA player props to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Western Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Wednesday, April 20, at 3 p.m. ET.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 3 Player Props

Donovan Mitchell, Jazz: OVER 29.5 Points (-110)

WAGER: 2 Units

We have seen Donovan Mitchell turn up his play in the postseason during his career, and this has continued during the first two games of this series. In Games 1 and 2, Mitchell scored 32 and 34, respectively. This means Mitchell has scored 30 or more points in nine of his past 10 postseason games.

Following a loss in Game 2, this seems like a spot where Mitchell’s usage goes off the charts. For better or worse, we should expect to hear Mitchell’s name called a lot on Thursday.

Rudy Gobert, Jazz: OVER 1.5 Blocks (-145)

WAGER: 2 Units

While his scoring hasn’t been good this series, Rudy Gobert has been rebounding and blocking shots at a high rate. Dallas relies on attacking the paint often, so he’s had ample opportunity to show off his defensive skills.

During the first two games of this series, Gobert grabbed 17 rebounds in each and blocked two and three shots. He has also blocked multiple shots in four of his past five games and two or more shots in all five of his matchups against Dallas this season.

Mike Conley: UNDER 1.5 Blocks + Steals (-135)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Mike Conley isn’t a terrible defender, but he doesn’t show up in the defensive stat sheet. In Games 1 and 2, he totaled one steal in each game with zero blocks. He has been held under two combined blocks and steals in five of his six matchups against the Mavericks this season.

His block and steal production has also remained low in previous seasons. He has been held under two combined blocks and steals in six of his past seven games in the NBA Playoffs.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 3 Game Props

Jazz OVER 108.5 Total Points (-110)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Jazz have had more luck with their offense in home games this season, averaging 6.8 more points per game at Vivint Arena compared to on the road. Meanwhile, the Mavericks’ defense doesn’t seem to travel as well, giving up 5.4 more points per game on the road.

Moreover, Utah scored an average of 117 points per game against Dallas at home this season, and the Jazz averaged 116.8 points at home this year. This 108.5 mark should be well within reach.

While the Dallas Mavericks host the Utah Jazz in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, it’s tough to feel as though they are at any kind of advantage. This is because their leader, Luka Doncic, missed Game 1 and is expected to be sidelined once again for Game 2.

Without Doncic, the Jazz are the clear favorites to win. However, there are other ways to bet this series.

The loss of Doncic also opens up opportunities for other Dallas players, which you can play player props for. There are many NBA player props to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Western Conference game.

All NBA gameday odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Sunday, April 17, at 6 p.m. ET.

Jazz vs Mavericks Game 2 Player Props

Jalen Brunson: Over 22.5 Points (+100)

WAGER: 1 Unit

During the Game 1 loss, Jalen Brunson’s numbers played out right where we projected them to be. He scored 24 points in 41 minutes despite Dallas struggling to score.

With the point total likely slightly higher in Game 2, Brunson should put together a similar or better performance. Dallas doesn’t have many other scorers, so he shoulders a large amount of the offensive load. Ride with Brunson in our NBA bet of the day.

Bojan Bogdanovic: Under 2.5 Made Threes (-115)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Bojan Bogdanovic was hot to start the game for Utah, and he finished the game with a solid 26 points. However, he converted on only two of his six shots from long range. This means Bogdanovic has hit fewer than 2.5 three-pointers in three of his past six games.

Look for the trend to continue in Dallas on Monday.

Rudy Gobert: Over 1.5 Blocks (-135)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Rudy Gobert has one job in this series: play big. There isn’t a true post threat on the Dallas roster. They also don’t shoot the long ball that well, so they will need to take the ball inside quite a bit. Gobert needs to put his hands up, block shots, and grab rebounds.

He did his job exceptionally in Game 1. Gobert missed his only shot attempt in the game, but he grabbed 17 rebounds and blocked three shots. He has blocked multiple shots in three of his past four games. Moreover, Gobert has blocked two or more shots in all four games against Dallas this season, averaging 2.75 against them.

Jazz vs Mavericks Game 2 Game Props

Margin of Victory: Jazz 6-10 Points (+360)

WAGER: 1 Unit

The Jazz started last game slow. A big reason for this was the play of Donovan Mitchell, who made only one field goal in the first half. Finishing with 32 points, he was much more aggressive in the second.

He should play more aggressively in this game, leading to Utah easily winning and covering the spread of five points. However, due to the defense in this game, it’s unlikely to be a blowout. Look for Dallas to keep the game within single-digits at the final buzzer.

The NBA Playoffs are set to begin this weekend, and there are many storylines to pay attention to. One of the biggest in the entire playoff field is in the Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz series, with the status of Luka Doncic up in the air.

All indications point to him missing Game 1 of the series on Saturday. With such a big star out, it will have a ripple effect. There will be players that step up, while others will shrink.

There are many NBA player props to wager on these player performances, giving you endless ways to play this Western Conference game.

All NBA odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook and current as of Friday, April 15, at 2 p.m. ET.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 1 Player Props

Jalen Brunson, Mavericks: OVER 21.5 Points (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Without Doncic in the lineup, things are going to be tough for the Mavericks. However, Jalen Brunson is their leading scorer that will be active, and he has done some great things this season when asked to shoulder more responsibility.

With Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kristaps Porzinigis off the floor for Dallas this season, Brunson has been spectacular. One of his best games of the season was without Doncic on Christmas against the Jazz, scoring 27 points in the loss.

Back Brunson to hit the Over with your NBA bet of the day.

Bojan Bogdanovic, Jazz: UNDER 2.5 Made Threes (-120)

WAGER: 1 Unit

Dallas has a great perimeter defense. They allow the fewest made threes per game this season (10.9), and their three-point percentage allowed ranks fourth (34%) in the league and improves to 31.4% on their home floor.

Bojan Bogdanovic hit fewer than 2.5 shots from long range in three of his last five games. There is a real blowout risk in this game as well, which would lead to Bogdanovic sitting down early and helping out this prop bet.

Jalen Brunson, Mavericks: OVER 1.5 Turnovers (-170)

WAGER: 2 Units

While the return on this player prop is not great, this line is clearly set too low, given the Doncic injury. Brunson will handle the ball a ton, and an increased usage rate leads to an increased probability of turnovers.

Brunson averages 1.6 turnovers per game this season. However, with Doncic, Porzingis and Hardaway off of the floor, he has averaged 2.51 turnovers per 36 minutes. He had two turnovers in the Mavs’ Christmas Day game against Utah without Doncic.

Mavericks vs Jazz Game 1 Game Props

Double Result: Jazz/Jazz (-106)

WAGER: 2 Units

The Jazz should dominate this game from start to finish. With Doncic out, Dallas will have three active players who average double-digit points. One of them will need to guard Donovan Mitchell, possibly leading to fatigue on the offensive end or foul trouble.

Meanwhile, Utah has multiple scorers and one of the best rim protectors in the game in Rudy Gobert. It will be incredibly tough for the Mavericks to do anything without their leader.
