Browns vs Patriots Week 10 Prop Bets Today | Spread, Browns Team Total, & More

Last Updated: Nov 13, 2021

Week 10 brings us a lot of pretty good games around the NFL, and one of them is Cleveland going up to New England to take on a surging Patriots squad.

New England is 5-4 now as it’s riding a three-game winning streak. The Patriots are back in the playoff race after it looked like they were done for just a few weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Cleveland is in the thick of the race in the AFC North, even without the services of Odell Beckham Jr.. The Browns went to Cincinnati and delivered a beatdown to the Bengals, winning 41-16. That came just a week after Cleveland dropped a low-scoring game to Pittsburgh 15-10.

The Browns had a field day with the Bengals’ offense as they intercepted Joe Burrow twice and held him to just 282 passing yards and no touchdowns. After the first quarter, Cincinnati had just nine points the rest of the way.

The Patriots are coming off an impressive win of their own, defeating the Carolina Panthers 24-6 with a strong defensive effort that featured cornerback J.C. Jackson making two interceptions and returning one of them for a touchdown.

There are plenty of interesting bets to look into in what will be a very good matchup on Sunday.

Please note that all NFL gameday odds and lines are current as of 3:00 p.m. ET on Friday, November 12.

Browns vs. Patriots Prop Bets: NFL Week 10 Prop Betting Picks

Spread: Patriots -2.5 (-112) at SugarHouse

Wager: 1.5 Units

Despite Cleveland coming off a big win against Cincinnati, I like the Patriots coming into this one. They’re red hot and could be 6-3 right now if things had gone their way against the Cowboys last month. The matchup is also up in Foxborough, which is always touted as one of the tougher places to play in the NFL.

Mac Jones has been red hot during this winning streak as he has thrown for 200+ passing yards in two of the three games. He also has three touchdown passes to one interception during that stretch and continues to get better on a weekly basis.

The Patriots’ defense has also been a rock these last three weeks. They’ve held all their opponents to 24 points or fewer and in two of the games, it’s been 13 points or less. The unit has also nabbed seven interceptions over the last three weeks, with two of them being pick-sixes.

The Browns are going to be competitive in this game, despite Baker Mayfield battling various injuries. He was able to play well against Cincinnati and still has Jarvis Landry and Donovan Peoples-Jones ready to go through the passing game.

It’s the run game that’s going to hurt Cleveland the most. Kareem Hunt is still hurt and Nick Chubb will be out after a positive COVID-19 test.

With that said, I have a hard time believing the Patriots lose this game. They’re better on both sides of the ball right now and are firing on all cylinders, making this my NFL bet of the day.

Total: Under 45 Points (-108) at SugarHouse

Wager: 1 Unit

I trust the Patriots to be able to score in this one. The Browns? Not so much. I know I said above that Cleveland’s passing game should be fine, but they’ll be relying on D’Ernest Johnson to carry the load on the ground.

In his lone start this season, Johnson finished with 22 carries for 146 yards and a touchdown. However, he managed just 16 yards on eight carries last week and will be now be running behind a line without All-Pro LT Jack Conklin.

It’s one of the main reasons I’m taking the under in this game. Even though the Browns do have some great weapons in the passing game and Mayfield is coming off a great performance, it’s going to be a tall order to repeat that in Foxborough.

Add the fact that Cleveland may have to be one-dimensional and I can’t see the over hitting unless New England wins by over 30.

Team Total: Browns Under 21.5 Points (-113) at SugarHouse

Wager: 1 Unit

This goes along with the previous two bets as Cleveland will find it hard to score points on this vaunted Patriots defense.

It reminds me of the Pittsburgh game a couple of weeks ago where the Browns had that one first good drive, but then struggled offensively the rest of the game. They ended up with just 10 points as the Steelers’ defense completely shut them down.

Mayfield is going to have to be careful through the air, especially with how New England’s secondary has been a bunch of ballhawks the last few weeks.

I don’t expect Cleveland to be able to score a lot. The defense is going to have to find a way to slow Mac Jones down and win a slugfest of a game. Hammer the under here.
