NFL Power Rankings Week 10 | What Are the Latest Team Power Rankings 2021

Week 9 was the week for upsets in the NFL. We saw multiple double-digit favorites lose outright (Cowboys, Bills), and a few other really good teams lose at home (Rams, Bengals, Saints).

After nine weeks, we might not have any elite teams in the NFL. Or do we? Without further ado, let’s get to the rankings!

All playoff lines and odds used in the NFL power rankings series are provided by BetMGM Sportsbook and are current as of Tuesday, November 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

NFL Power Rankings for Week 10

32. Detroit Lions (0-8) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +50000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1000000

Detroit was off in Week 9, but this is a team that is now struggling to stay competitive. Up next are the Pittsburgh Steelers in Heinz Field. That is a tough matchup for any team, but especially for Jared Goff and the Lions.

31. Houston Texans (1-7) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +50000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1000000

You could easily argue that the Dolphins and the Texans both deserve to be in the second-to-last spot here. Their Week 9 matchup was the worst football game of the year with eight combined turnovers. Both sides have to be very frustrated and discouraged about their futures.

30. Miami Dolphins (2-7) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +5000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +250000

The Dolphins barely beat the Texans in Week 9, but it was the sloppiest game of the year. Miami’s offensive line might be the worst in the league, and that makes it tough to evaluate any skill player. The Dolphins are several years and drafts away from being a competitive team in the AFC.

29. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: +10000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +500000

It was the defense that helped the Jaguars get their second win of the season in Week 9. Their Josh Allen took over the game, forcing multiple turnovers and causing Buffalo’s Josh Allen to play outside of his game.

The Jaguars aren’t contenders yet, but this is a much more competitive team than we saw in the first month of the season.

28. New York Jets (2-5) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: +10000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +500000

The Jets were forced to play Josh Johnson, their third-string quarterback, for most of the game in Week 9. However, they didn’t quit, and Johnson actually played pretty well in the second half. But the defense is the story here as they allowed over 500 total yards against the Colts. Yikes.

27. Washington Football Team (2-6) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: +2000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +50000

Washington was on a bye in Week 9, but they need to start putting together wins even to have a chance at making the playoffs. After winning the division in 2020, they appear to be one of the worst teams in the league as both the offense and defense have struggled at times this year.

26. Carolina Panthers (4-4) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +25000

The Panthers have a real problem at quarterback. The team traded multiple picks for Sam Darnold, hoping that a change in scenery would do him well. He did look improved early in the season, but he is regressing back to the mean.

Darnold is among the worst starting quarterbacks in the NFL, and he is severely hindering the offensive for the Panthers.

25. New York Giants (3-6) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: +1200
  • Super Bowl Odds: +20000

Daniel Jones did not play well in Week 9, but the Giants still got the win over the Raiders. The defense caused three turnovers and got a red zone stop at the end of the game. New York is still a long way away from being a good team, but it was a nice win for them on Sunday.

24. Philadelphia Eagles (3-6) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: N/A
  • Super Bowl Odds: +25000

The Eagles hung with the Chargers for the entire game, but could not get a stop when they needed it. Their secondary just hasn’t been good enough this season, and it’s caused them to lose multiple games.

The Eagles have talent on both sides of the ball, but they just aren’t consistent enough in either phase to beat good teams.

23. San Francisco 49ers (3-5) ⬇️ 5

  • Playoffs Odds: +275
  • Super Bowl Odds: +12500

The 49ers might be the most disappointing team in the NFL this season. They were in a great spot to get a win in Week 9 with the Cardinals playing without Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Instead, they were blown out at home, and the offense struggled again.

The 49ers are in real danger of not making the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

22. Seattle Seahawks (3-5) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: +175
  • Super Bowl Odds: +15000

The Seahawks went 1-2 in games without Russell Wilson but will get their leader back in Week 10. Are the Seahawks too far back to make a run now that Wilson is back on the field? Not at all, but they have some major issues on defense and on the offensive line that Wilson might not be able to cover up.

21. Minnesota Vikings (3-5) ⬇️ 5

  • Playoffs Odds: +300
  • Super Bowl Odds: +10000

The Vikings can play with any team in the league, but their problem is closing out games. Once again, they held a fourth-quarter lead, only to lose it in overtime against the Ravens. It’s clear the Vikings are talented, but it might be time to move on from Mike Zimmer.

20. Chicago Bears (3-6) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: +1600
  • Super Bowl Odds: +50000

By all accounts, the Bears were robbed of a victory in Week 9 after several suspect calls. But the biggest takeaway is the play of Justin Fields, who looked like a star in primetime. He totaled over 300 yards and gave Chicago a one-point lead with less than two minutes left in the game.

This feels like the game in which Fields turned the corner and is finally starting to figure out how to be a franchise quarterback.

19. Atlanta Falcons (4-4) ⬆️ 9

  • Playoffs Odds: +250
  • Super Bowl Odds: +25000

Since Week 3, Matt Ryan has had a passer rating of 106 and is playing with a ton of confidence. Even without Calvin Ridley, he dominated the Saints in New Orleans. Sitting at 4-4, the Falcons are in a great spot to steal a Wild Card berth if they can win five or six more games.

18. Denver Broncos (5-4) ⬆️ 5

  • Playoffs Odds: +175
  • Super Bowl Odds: +8000

The Broncos might have had the most impressive win in Week 9, thoroughly dominating the Cowboys from the opening kickoff.

While the Von Miller trade seemed to signal that the Broncos were throwing in the towel on this season, their 5-4 record suggests they are in contention to win the wild AFC West. It’s certainly been an odd season for the Broncos so far.

17. Indianapolis Colts (4-5) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: +150
  • Super Bowl Odds: +10000

When the Colts run the ball, they can be one of the most dangerous offenses in the league. Jonathan Taylor might just be the most explosive running back in the league, and Nyheim Hines is an incredible complementary piece.

The Colts need to go on a bit of a run to get back in the hunt in the AFC, but they have the offense to do so.

16. Cincinnati Bengals (5-4) ⬇️ 7

  • Playoffs Odds: +150
  • Super Bowl Odds: +6600

After a fantastic start to the season, the Bengals have dropped two straight games and were embarrassed by the Browns in Cincinnati. The defense is starting to really struggle as they have allowed over 30 points in back-to-back games.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: +150
  • Super Bowl Odds: +6600

The Steelers got a win on Monday Night Football at home against an inferior team. However, it took several questionable calls for that to happen. Their Week 9 win over the Bears was a shaky one, at best.

Bet Tip: With a home game in Week 10 against the Lions, the Steelers are a lock to go 6-3 after their first nine games. They should be able to easily get to double-digit wins, making them a shoo-in for the playoffs. Take the Steelers +150 to make the playoffs, as they are a great value right now.

14. Las Vegas Raiders (5-3) ⬇️ 4

  • Playoffs Odds: +140
  • Super Bowl Odds: +5000

The Raiders had their chances to beat the Giants on the road in Week 9, but Derek Carr did not play well. He turned the ball over three times, and the offense missed the speed of Henry Ruggs III.

The hope is that DeSean Jackson, who signed earlier this week, can help bring some explosive plays to this offense.

13.  Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) ⬆️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: -250
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1100

The Chiefs got another win, but it was far from impressive. Patrick Mahomes continues to struggle, and they only scored 13 points at home against the Packers. Kansas City is keeping themselves alive with these wins, but this isn’t a Super Bowl-caliber team this season.

12. New Orleans Saints (5-3) ⬇️ 1

  • Playoffs Odds: -225
  • Super Bowl Odds: +4000

After a big win over the Buccaneers in Week 8, the Saints were unable to repeat their success in Week 9 against the Falcons. They couldn’t stop Matt Ryan as he made all of the big-time throws needed to win that game. The Saints are still a good team, but their ceiling is considerably lower without Jameis Winston.

11. Cleveland Browns (5-4) ⬆️ 8

  • Playoffs Odds: +100
  • Super Bowl Odds: +3000

The Browns released Odell Beckham Jr. late in the week, and it looks like it made a big difference for the offense. Cleveland looked refreshed on both sides of the ball and played with an intensity that we haven’t seen all season long.

With this win, the Browns sit at 5-4 and are right in the thick of things in the AFC.

10. New England Patriots (5-4) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: -125
  • Super Bowl Odds: +4000

Don’t look now, but the Patriots are back over .500 and are playing outstanding football. Their defense continues to force turnovers at an alarming rate, and their offense is doing enough to put away teams.

Their Week 10 game against the Browns will tell us a lot about the ceiling for Bill Belichick’s squad.

9. Los Angeles Chargers (5-3) ⬆️ 4

  • Playoffs Odds: -360
  • Super Bowl Odds: +2000

The Chargers got a road win in Philadelphia, and it took them the entire game to put away the Eagles. Justin Herbert looked better in this contest than he did in the last month, and the defense was able to get enough stops to win the game. However, the run defense for the Chargers continues to be a major problem.

8. Buffalo Bills (5-3) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: -1000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +550

It’s time to start getting worried about the Bills. They scored just six points against the Jaguars as their offensive line could not hold up. The defense played fine, but the offense has to become more consistent if the Bills want to be a legitimate threat in the AFC.

7. Dallas Cowboys (6-2) ⬇️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: -3500
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1100

The Cowboys laid an egg in Week 9 as they trailed the Broncos 30-0 at one point at home. Dak Prescott and the offense couldn’t sustain any drives, and the defense allowed Denver to run all over them.

Still, they are one of the better teams in the NFL despite the loss. But they need to have a strong showing against the Falcons in Week 10 to restore some of the confidence lost in them from this week.

6. Baltimore Ravens (6-2) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: -800
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1000

The Ravens continue to find ways to win in a dramatic fashion. Lamar Jackson overcame another double-digit deficit in this game, and his team got the victory in overtime against the Vikings. Baltimore’s defense is still a big issue, but the quarterback for the Ravens is able to mask most of their problems.

5. Los Angeles Rams (6-2) ⬇️ 4

  • Playoffs Odds: -2500
  • Super Bowl Odds: +700

If there is one weakness that will hold the Rams back from making the Super Bowl this season, it’s their offensive line. The Titans pushed them around all night, and Matthew Stafford never looked comfortable in the pocket.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: -10000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +600

The Buccaneers were on bye in Week 9, but the week couldn’t have gone any better for them. The Packers, Cowboys, and Rams all lost, which means the No. 1 seed is still on the table for Tampa Bay.

3. Tennessee Titans (7-2) ⬆️ 4

  • Playoffs Odds: -10000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1400

The Titans just keep finding ways to win games against good teams. Their Week 9 win over the Rams was one of the most impressive victories of the season as their defensive line dominated.

Even without Derrick Henry, this is a really good team that just knows how to win. The Titans are currently the best team in the AFC.

2. Green Bay Packers (7-2) ↔️

  • Playoffs Odds: -10000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +1000

It would be easy to downgrade the Packers after another loss, but they actually hung with the Chiefs in Kansas City without Aaron Rodgers. This is still one of the best teams in the NFL when Rodgers comes back under center.

Bet Tip: The Packers at +1000 to win the Super Bowl is a good bet entering Week 10. Rodgers will return to the lineup soon, and he gives them a chance in any game.

1. Arizona Cardinals (8-1) ⬆️ 2

  • Playoffs Odds: -10000
  • Super Bowl Odds: +900

The Cardinals just won a divisional game without their star quarterback or wide receiver. And they are just one red zone interception away from being 9-0.

This is clearly the best team in the NFL after nine weeks. But can they keep it up? That is about the only relevant question with this team right now.
