NFL DFS Best Picks Week 7 | PrizePicks Lineups and Sleepers

Last Updated: Jul 14, 2023

Injury reports and bye weeks will be creating tons of headaches and frustration to season-long fantasy football owners.

If you’d like to limit the negative impact that injuries may have on your fantasy football fun, playing Daily Fantasy Sports may be a good route for you. DFS or sports betting is also an easy way to inject some excitement into the less riveting matchups on the NFL slate.

If you’re looking for a way to combine the fun of betting and fantasy, PrizePicks may be the perfect site for you.

Unlike the typical salary cap lineup construction format that most DFS sites follow, PrizePicks has users build their own parlays by selecting Over or Under on up to five specific player props instead. The more props you select, the higher the multiplier on the entry fee.

Another plus about PrizePicks is their Flex Play option, which allows users to win even with missed picks, though it lowers the potential payout for perfect picks.

Now that you understand how PrizePicks works, let’s get into the DFS football predictions series for Week 7!

Stat information for NFL DFS Week 7 picks are current as of Friday, October 22, at 2 p.m. EST.

NFL DFS Week 7: Single-Stat Daily Fantasy Sports

With the single-stat game format, users will pick Over or Under for a player’s performance in a single stat. Users can string picks together across different games and sports.

DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Over 0.5 Receiving Touchdowns

While the narrative of “revenge games” is typically overblown, this one for DeAndre Hopkins against the Houston Texans is not.

Houston refused to pay him, then they traded him for an insultingly low amount. This is a game he had circled, so you can bet he and his teammates will make sure he has a statement game. Of course, this includes him scoring at least one touchdown.

Hopkins leads the Cardinals with 10 red zone targets this season, and he should get a couple more on Sunday. He has also scored in back-to-back weeks, and a three-peat is coming.

Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Over 14.5 Receiving Yards

As he gets healthier, the snaps for Joe Mixon continue to go up. In an important divisional game, we should see him operate as a three-down running back once more.

While his receiving production hasn’t been at the forefront this season, we know Mixon is a talented receiver, and he totaled 59 yards on five receptions last week to remind us of that. The matchup against the Ravens is a nice one, as they are the defense that has surrendered the most receiving yards in the NFL to running backs (403).

Look for Mixon to take advantage and go well above this prop line.

Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Over 67.5 Receiving Yards

Deebo Samuel has been one of the top-performing receivers this season. He ranks third in the NFL in target share (32.9 percent) and fifth in receiving yards (548), despite already having his bye week. With George Kittle still out, Samuel will continue to serve as the clear top target on the offense.

He also faces a damaged Colts secondary that will be without a starting safety and it looks like one cornerback. With Jimmy Garoppolo back under center, Samuel should catch at least 67 yards, as he has done in three of his five games this season.

NFL DFS Week 7: Fantasy Score Game

The Fantasy Score Game format follows the same concept as the Single-Stat Game. However, instead of picking a player’s performance in a stat category, users will pick Over or Under a player’s fantasy point total. For NFL DFS, PrizePicks follows a PPR scoring format.

Corey Davis, WR, New York Jets

Under 11.0 Fantasy Points

When facing the Patriots, you know they are looking to take away your best weapon or what you do best. This forces a team to defeat them with something they may not be as comfortable with doing.

In the first meeting with the Patriots, we saw Corey Davis get taken away, with him finishing with two receptions for eight yards. Fast forward to Week 7, and the Jets still don’t do anything well on offense. So, look for them to take away Zach Wilson’s favorite target once more, shutting down Davis for the day.

Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots

Over 9.0 Fantasy Points

It may surprise you to know the top team against opposing wide receivers for fantasy is the New York Jets. What’s less surprising is that they are worse in other areas, such as defending tight ends, which benefits Hunter Henry this week.

Henry has established himself as the top tight end on the team. Henry has caught a touchdown in three straight weeks. He also totaled at least five receptions in each of the three games before last week.

As stated earlier, the Jets have been good at shutting down wide receivers, so those targets need to go somewhere on Sunday.

Darrell Henderson, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Over 16.0 Fantasy Points

When healthy and playing, it’s tough to find someone as consistent as Darrell Henderson this season. He has totaled over 16 fantasy points in four straight weeks. His one failed attempt was in Week 1, scoring 15.7.

This week, Henderson faces a Lions defense that has surrendered the most fantasy points to running backs this season. He should be busy and have a ton of success.
