NFL DFS Best Picks Week 6 | PrizePicks Lineups and Sleepers

The injury report for NFL Week 6 nearly reads like a phonebook. This can bring a lot of headaches and frustration to season-long fantasy football.

If you’d like to limit the negative impact that injuries may have on your fantasy football fun, playing Daily Fantasy Sports may be a good route for you. DFS or sports betting is also an easy way to inject some excitement into the less riveting matchups on the NFL slate.

If you’re looking for a way to combine the fun of betting and fantasy, PrizePicks may be the perfect site for you.

Unlike the typical salary cap lineup construction format that most DFS sites follow, PrizePicks has users build their own parlays by selecting Over or Under on up to five specific player props instead. The more props you select, the higher the multiplier on the entry fee.

Another plus about PrizePicks is their Flex Play option, which allows users to win even with missed picks, though it lowers the potential payout for perfect picks.

Now that you understand how PrizePicks works, let’s get into the DFS football predictions series for Week 6!

Stat information for NFL DFS Week 6 picks are current as of Friday, October 15, at 1 p.m. EST.

NFL DFS Week 6: Single-Stat Daily Fantasy Sports

With the single-stat game format, users will pick Over or Under for a player’s performance in a single stat. Users can string picks together across different games and sports.

Davis Mills, QB, Houston Texans

Over 199.5 Passing Yards

Say what you want about Davis Mills, but he can pass for 200 yards against an injured Indianapolis Colts secondary. Both Xavier Rhodes and Rock Ya-Sin are battling through injuries right now, and Mills is coming off of a game in which he completed over 70% of his passes for over 300 yards.

He’s a talented player, and this prop is too low.

Tim Patrick, WR, Denver Broncos

Over 50.5 Receiving Yards

If you haven’t watched the Broncos this season, Tim Patrick is a really good wide receiver. He’s big, athletic, and makes great plays on the ball.

Patrick is coming off a game in which he turned nine targets into 89 yards. He also totaled 98 yards back in Week 3, and he has totaled 20 targets over these past three games. He will continue to be involved against a Las Vegas Raiders team that has a weakness at the outside cornerback position.

Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Indianapolis Colts

Over 58.5 Receiving Yards

Speaking of a weakness in the secondary, the Houston Texans have allowed 7.7 passing yards per attempt, which is the eighth-most in the NFL. They are also allowing teams to complete over 68% of their passes, and they have struggled to sack the quarterback.

All of this points to a solid day from Michael Pittman Jr., who has totaled 59 or more receiving yards in each of the past four games. He also has 39 targets over these four games, showing he is a massive part of the Colts’ game plan.

NFL DFS Week 6: Fantasy Score Game

The Fantasy Score Game format follows the same concept as the Single-Stat Game. However, instead of picking a player’s performance in a stat category, users will pick Over or Under a player’s fantasy point total. For NFL DFS, PrizePicks follows a PPR scoring format.

Dan Arnold, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars

Over 7.0 Fantasy Points

The Jaguars traded for Dan Arnold because they needed more production from the tight end position. Following the injury to D.J. Chark, Arnold will actually be a go-to target.

The former wide receiver is a big, athletic target that will stretch the field for Jacksonville. Last week, he played 73% of the snaps, catching six passes for 64 yards. Expect more of the same from Arnold going forward.

Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Over 19.0 Fantasy Points

After going to the hospital with a throat contusion, Joe Burrow has been fully cleared for this game against Detroit. Simply, the Lions can’t rush the passer while also not having much talent in the secondary.

This is a massive get-right spot for Burrow and his talented weapons. He has totaled 20+ fantasy points in back-to-back weeks, and Sunday should make it three in a row.

Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Washington Football Team

Over 7.0 Fantasy Points

Washington loves to play their TE1 a massive amount of snaps. Logan Thomas didn’t miss a single snap before getting injured. Last week, Ricky Seals-Jones played 99% of the snaps. With Washington having injuries to their receivers, Seals-Jones saw targets by default, catching five passes for 41 yards.

Taylor Heinicke is a bit erratic as well, so throwing to a big, athletic target helps him out a bit. Playing the worst statistical defense in the NFL (Kansas City Chiefs), Seals-Jones should have a positive game script against a nice matchup.
