After a slow start to the season, the Los Angeles Clippers are beginning to come around ahead of the NBA trade deadline and All-Star break. At 29-25, the Clippers are currently in fourth in the Western Conference, and Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are back in full force.
Now is an excellent time to get involved in futures betting as well, as lines could be changing very soon should the Clippers make a few trades. Pouncing on that value now could result in you earning a significant payday, so let’s take a look at the latest LA Clippers futures odds.

Clippers NBA Finals Odds
Clippers Win 2023 NBA Finals (+1300)
They’ll face stiff competition along the way, but if their recent performance is any indicator of what’s to come, the Clippers could be a legitimate NBA Finals contender this year. Their odds have declined since the season began, too, making now a great time to buy in.
The Western Conference is tight and the East looks especially daunting, especially since Los Angeles likely won’t get home-court advantage in a series against some of the league’s top teams. But Leonard remains one of the game’s best players, and the Clippers are among the deepest teams in the NBA.
Clippers Western Conference Odds
Clippers Win Western Conference (+650)
The West is stacked this year, but the Clippers should be considered a tough out by virtually every team in the conference. Even without home-court advantage against some of the top seeds, Los Angeles could push any team in a seven-game series.
The window is closing for the Clippers, and they know it. After reloading at the trade deadline, I expect them to come out and prove that they belong in the conversation of top-tier teams as well.
Clippers Pacific Division Odds
Clippers Win Pacific Division (+325)
This is an interesting one. An honor once dominated by the Warriors in the mid-2010s has been passed around over the last several years, and although the Clippers have finished no worse than third every season since 2011-12, they’ve earned this title just twice in that time.
This could perhaps be the year that Los Angeles finishes first, but it’ll have to topple the Kings and stave off the Dubs and Suns to get it done. However, at this price, it’s worth the gamble.

Norman Powell Wins Sixth Man of the Year (+750) at Caesars Sportsbook
The Sixth Man of the Year Award has been owned by the Clippers for the last 10 years or so, with Jamal Crawford, Lou Williams, and Montrezl Harrell raking in half of them since the 2012-13 season. Perhaps Powell could be the next?
The 29-year-old is averaging 16.4 points per game on the year, although he’s brought that number up to 19.6 over his last 14 contests. He’s also connecting on 50% of his three-point attempts during that stretch, helping the Clippers go 8-6.
Russell Westbrook remains the favorite in this category, but there’s good reason to back Powell at this (+750) price tag.
How to Bet Clippers Moneylines
Moneyline betting is about as simple as it gets. By picking a team’s moneyline, you’re betting on them to win. If that team goes on to win the game, you’ll also win your bet.
Of course, it’s a bit more complicated than that. Each team has different moneyline odds, for one thing, that determine how much you need to spend to earn a reasonable profit. Betting on a heavy underdog to win a game could earn you a massive payout, but underdogs generally don’t win games as often as favorites do.
For example, if the Clippers are playing the Lakers, then the Clippers would likely be a (-200) favorite. In this case, you would need to bet $20 to win $10, should the Clippers win the game.
On the other hand, a $10 bet on a (+200) underdog would earn you $20 in profit. And while that sounds nice, it’s again important to note that a team’s odds of winning are usually that low for a reason.

How to Bet Clippers Spreads
One way to wager on games without sacrificing value is through spread betting, which essentially allows you to bet on whether a team will win (or lose) a game by a set number of points.
For example, the Clippers might be a 5.5-point favorite over the Lakers. At a sportsbook, this would look something like this: Lakers +5.5 (-110) vs Clippers -5.5 (-110).
Each option has the same (-110) odds, because each is equally likely to happen in the eyes of the oddsmakers. In this case, the Clippers would cover the spread and you would win your bet if they win the game by more than 5.5 points. On the other hand, the Lakers would cover if they win the game or lose by less than 5.5 points.

How to Bet Clippers Over/Unders
Another popular way to bet on games is by wagering on the Over/Under, or total. This large number is the projected number of total points that will be scored in a game, and by picking either the Over or the Under, you’re saying that the actual total will be higher (Over) or lower (Under).
Say the total between the Clippers and Lakers is set at 223.5 points. In this case, if you take the Over, you’re suggesting that the final combined score will be 224 points or more. By betting the Under, you’re saying that 223 points or less will be scored.
