Position of Indianapolis Colts First Drafted Player: Offense Lineman (+110)
After a 10-year career with Indianapolis, left tackle Anthony Castonzo decided to retire from football this offseason. With plus odds still being the betting favorite, the safe option would be wagering on GM Chris Ballard to draft Castonzo’s replacement in the first round.
Last season, the NFL universe watched Philadelphia’s failures as they were unable to keep Wentz upright. Investing a first-round pick on a lineman in attempt to turn Wentz’s career around would be the smart move.
While high-profile linemen like Penei Sewell, Alijah Vera-Tucker and Rashawn Slater will be off the board, the 21st pick is a prime position for prospects like Texas’s Samuel Cosmi or Oklahoma’s Teven Jenkins to come off the board.
