For Wednesday, Mike Barner has your NBA Bet Prop Picks of the Day: Best Basketball Props Today 6/9/21. All odds were obtained from PointsBet.
A rough 0-3 mark with my player prop picks on Monday dropped my season record to 90-85 (-10.29 units). I’ll try to bounce back with the following two wagers to consider for Wednesday’s Game 2 between the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.

Deandre Ayton, Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets
To Record a Double-Double (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
Ayton has averaged a double-double in each of his first three NBA seasons, so looking for him to get one here isn’t exactly a reach. He had 20 points and 10 rebounds in Game 1, which came after he recorded a double-double in all three regular-season games against the Nuggets this year. He also had four double-doubles in the first round against the Lakers, so he’s basically a double-double machine.
Aaron Gordon, Denver Nuggets at Phoenix Suns
Over 12.5 Points (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
Gordon is known more for his ability to contribute in multiple areas than for his scoring prowess, but the Nuggets have needed more offense from him with Jamal Murray
(knee) out. Gordon has stepped up in the playoffs, scoring at least 13 points in six of seven postseason games thus far. After netting 18 points and attempting 14 field goals in Game 1, Gordon should continue to play a significant role in the offense and hit the over here.
