Mathew Barzal To Score Anytime Goal (+220)
The New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning clash on Wednesday night as New York tries to force a Game 7. Islanders center Mathew Barzal is coming off an awful Game 5 in which he had more game misconduct penalties (one) than points (zero). After scoring three goals in the first four games of the series, Barzal will be looking to bounce back.
Despite his prior success in this series, Barzal is considerable plus money on Wednesday night and the first New York Islander listed. Despite this being a road game for Tampa Bay, four different Lightning players have shorter odds for an anytime goal. Barzal’s +220 line is too good to not at least take a shot.
Lightning To Win Game 6 In Regulation (+110)
Tampa Bay comes in at +110 to win in regulation on Wednesday night, which is likely the most enticing bet. The Lightning have now scored 10 straight goals in this series and won three of the last four games, so the momentum is on their side. The puck line (-1.5, +180) is also worth considering, albeit a bit riskier given that three of the games have been decided by one goal.
While Tampa Bay will likely face stiff resistance from New York tonight, look for the Lightning to close them out and punch their ticket to the Stanley Cup Finals. If any team can win on the road, after all, it’s Tampa Bay. This number is better than the -155 moneyline, although do consider that as well.
