NHL Bets of the Day: Best Hockey Picks Today 6/22/21

Max Pacioretty To Score Anytime Goal (+130)

The Vegas Golden Knights face the Montreal Canadiens again on Tuesday night as the Stanley Cup semifinal series heads back to Vegas. The Canadiens have done a good job keeping Max Pacioretty at bay, holding him scoreless on 13 shots and limiting him to just two assists.

On the plus side, Pacioretty appears to be getting more comfortable in this series and has been more aggressive with his shot lately. After managing just three total shots in the first two games combined, Pacioretty has fired five shots in each of the last two games. All those attempts are going to result in a goal sooner or later, so take Pacioretty and the plus-money to score tonight.

Vegas Golden Knights To Win In Regulation (-140)

Vegas is at a staggering -250 on the straight moneyline, which is just too high for the home team even with some positive news on the horizon. Given how close this series has been, this game could go either way.

It does indeed look like Chandler Stephenson is nearing a return from the injury he suffered in Game 1. The Golden Knights have looked like a shell of their former selves in the three games without him. But when he, Mark Stone, and Pacioretty have all played, Vegas is averaging 3.75 goals per game this postseason.

With a likely better effort from Vegas and its top players, the Golden Knights become more attractive again, especially back at home coming off a Game 4 win in overtime. Accordingly, taking Vegas to win Game 5 in regulation is a solid option given the moneyline. If one feels even riskier, take a look at the +115 puckline as well.
