Davante Adams 2021 Fantasy Football Outlook
After being slowed by a hamstring injury in 2019, Adams came back healthy and had a monster season last year, finishing as the top wide receiver in PPR leagues. With 341.8 total points, he was the second-highest scoring non-quarterback after Alvin Kamara.
Adams’ fantasy production was the ultimate combination of volume and scoring, as he led the league with 18 touchdowns and 98.1 receiving yards per game. He also finished second with 115 receptions and fifth with 1,374 receiving yards, as he was once again Aaron Rodgers‘ top target. With Rodgers winning his third MVP award last year, Green Bay’s signal caller is still among the best in the game.
While it’s possible that Rodgers switches teams this offseason, Adams will remain the top receiving option in an offense that led the NFL in points scored last year. His fantasy value would certainly take a hit if Rodgers did leave, but for now he’s still a Packer and Adams will be valued as such. If Adams is healthy again, there’s no reason he can’t record at least 100 receptions, 1,300 yards, and 10-15 touchdowns, as he posted similar numbers in 2018 as well.
Davante Adams 2021 Fantasy Football Draft Value (PPR)
After finishing as the No. 1 wide receiver last year, Adams is projected to be the first wideout off the board in fantasy drafts this year. As long as Rodgers stays in Green Bay, Adams should be your pick if you miss out on the top running backs in the first round.
