2021 AFC West Division Winner Bet: Denver Broncos (+450)
The Kansas City Chiefs will win this division. However, -275 is simply too much to lay. With this division, I think the play is putting a small wager on the team with the highest upside (that isn’t the Chiefs) and go with the Denver Broncos. While the quarterback play of Drew Lock has been suspect, the hope is that a potential acquisition of Aaron Rodgers (or at minimum possible alternative QB Teddy Bridgewater) can help this team reach at least some semblance of its full potential.
2021 AFC West Division 2nd Place Finisher Bet: Denver Broncos (+160)
This might come across as a weird approach, but I do like betting on the Broncos to win the division and to come in second. The Chargers can throw a wrench into the plans of the Broncos’ bid for a playoff spot if Justin Herbert takes another step forward, but the Broncos are the second-best team in the division on paper. +160 is good enough odds.
2021 AFC West Division Exact Outcome: Chiefs-Broncos-Chargers-Raiders (+250)
This division is … interesting. I strongly believe the Chiefs take the division with ease. The Broncos and Chargers will likely duke it out for the two and three spots in the division. The Lions will pick up the rear. Betting this exact outcome is +250, but if you like Justin Herbert’s Chargers over the Denver Broncos, you can get +300 odds.
