The unranked Utah Utes will host the (18) Arizona State Sun Devils in this PAC-12 battle.
Arizona State has gotten off to an impressive 5-1 start this season, currently sitting in first place in the PAC-12 South. Their only loss came against (19) BYU three weeks ago, another up-and-coming team in the Top 25 rankings. ASU has been winners of three straight, with their most impressive victory coming in a 42-23 win over UCLA in Week 5.
Utah is 3-2 through their first five games, but have lost to the only two ranked teams they’ve faced this season in BYU and San Diego State. They will certainly have their hands full against an ASU squad that looks like the real deal in the early portion of the 2021 campaign.

Utah vs. Arizona State Prediction
Arizona State has been riding some momentum across a three-game winning streak while also averaging 33 points per game. On the other side of the ball, their defense has been tight, allowing just 16 points per contest.
As for Utah, they’re averaging 30 points per game and giving up 23 points each week, but they surrendered a combined total of 59 points against the only two ranked teams they’ve faced.
The Sun Devils are the favorites on the road in this matchup, and with good reason. I believe the spread and money line are both reasonable enough to roll with ASU this week, and that’s why I’m taking them in this Pac-12 contest on Saturday.

Best Bet: Arizona State +0.5 (-110) at Fanduel
As previously mentioned, I like Arizona State in this matchup. And since the spread is setup to hit as long as they win, it’s a no-brainer to take this pick. ASU pulled off a statement victory against UCLA two weeks ago, before coming back to beat Stanford by 18 points last week.
I’d be shocked to see Arizona State lose this one on the road to a Utah team that has not beaten a worthy opponent this season.
Best Bet: Arizona State Money Line (-110) at Caesars
With the spread set at +0.5 for ASU, the money line will come hand-in-hand if the Sun Devils pull off this victory. ASU is the favorite in this game and their recent play has been strong enough to choose them to extend their winning streak to four against Utah.
If you want to make the logical bet, going with the spread and money line in favor of ASU is pretty much a gimme for everyone out there.
Best Bet: Over 51 (-110) at Caesars
After Arizona State put up 42 points on UCLA in Week 5, I believe they will have a similar day in the scoring department against Utah. Not to mention, Utah has shown they are capable of holding their own on offense, which is why I feel we will see a good bit of points in this matchup.
