The home team remains undefeated in this 2021 NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Now, this tied series returns to Arizona for a pivotal Game 5 on Saturday, July 17th. Tip-off will again be at 9 p.m. EST, airing on ABC. With the homecourt advantage and betting odds flipping back to the Suns, let’s break down a few interesting parlays for Game 5.
Bucks vs Suns Game 5 Parlay Bet Picks & Predictions
Total Parlay Odds: +350
Wager: $50 (win would pay $225)
Handicap - Suns -3.5
The Suns have been the best home team against the spread this season with a 30-16 record, covering the spread by an average of 3.4 points. They are also 43-28-1 ATS as a favorite and 13-7 during this 2021 NBA Playoffs run. The Bucks have gone 18-28 ATS on the road this season, which is the second-worst in the entire league. I expect both trends to continue, with the home team winning and covering yet again.
Team Points - Each Team Over 102.5
The over hit again in Game 4, meaning the over has now hit in five of the six matchups between these teams this season (and Game 3 missed the mark by two points). We’re not betting the game total here since it’s pretty high, but picking both teams to score at least 103 points should be fairly easy given that it’s already happened three times in four games this series. Considering how high-scoring both clubs are, this leg seems pretty safe to me.
Result - Suns Win 1st Quarter
Despite Milwaukee winning both games at home, Phoenix won both first quarters, starting each game off sharp. The Suns have won three of the four first quarters in this series, and I think they do it again at home in Game 5.

NBA Finals Game 5 Parlay Player Prop Picks
Total Parlay Odds: +450
Wager: $50 (win would pay $275)
Player Points + Assists - Chris Paul 30+
The pattern between Phoenix winning and their point guard scoring is clear. He has netted at least 23 points in five of the Suns’ last six wins that he has played in, while scoring fewer than 23 points in each of their last four losses. Since I’m already picking Phoenix to win, I believe Paul will score at least 23 points in Game 5. He also has dished out seven or more assists in 13 straight games, making 30+ combined points and assists quite likely.
Player Points + Rebounds - Giannis Antetokounmpo 40+
Giannis has been a rebounding and scoring machine in this series, averaging 32.3 points and 14.0 rebounds per game. The Suns haven’t been able to slow him down on either end of the court, so look for him to record another monster double-double in Game 5.
Player Three-Pointers - Jae Crowder 3+
Crowder’s been getting great looks from beyond the arc in this series due to all the defensive attention on Paul, Booker, and Deandre Ayton. Paul runs the pick-and-roll with mastery, and Crowder is typically open on the perimeter when the Bucks try to stop it. Crowder’s shooting the ball well and has knocked down at least three triples in four of his last five games.
Player Rebounds - Deandre Ayton 13+
Ayton soaks up rebounds when he’s on the floor, which is a lot. He’s logged at least 38 minutes in three of the four games during this series and is averaging 14.0 boards per game as a result. With both teams shooting a steady volume of shots in these high-scoring contests, Ayton should have plenty of chances to clean the glass again in Game 5.

Bucks vs. Suns Game 5 Parlay Longshot
What’s an NBA Playoffs parlay article without a longshot parlay? Something that looks good on paper and would look even better to cash out, although the level of risk is clearly really high. Still, it’s worth sprinkling a little on this parlay since the screenshots you send your friends will be more than worth it!
Total Parlay Odds: +700
Wager: $10 (win would pay $80)
Result - Bucks Win
We’ll start our longshot parlay with Milwaukee pulling off an upset in Phoenix. While the Suns are favored at home, it would not be terribly surprising to see the Bucks win again, especially considering that they’ve won at least one road game in every series thus far. They still have not had a game where Giannis, Jrue Holiday, and Khris Middleton have all performed well, and this could be it.
Player Points - Chris Paul Under 21.5
The Bucks have limited Paul to 17.3 points per game over the last three games, including just 10 in Game 4. Paul’s scoring numbers have fluctuated wildly throughout the playoffs, as he’s often looking to get his teammates involved rather than searching for his own shot. If Milwaukee wins Game 5, it will likely be because Paul had another quiet night in the scoring column.
Player Points - Devin Booker 30+
While Paul may struggle to score, we’ve seen Booker shoot the lights out at home, pouring in 30+ points in three of his last five home games. Booker has also scored at least 30 points in two of his last three games, including 42 in Game 4, so he’s always a good bet for a huge scoring performance.
Player Points + Assists + Rebounds - Giannis Antetokounmpo 45+
While Giannis has had no problem racking up points and rebound during this series, he’s also been active in the passing game. He’s notched at least four assists in every game this series, including 14 in Games 3 and 4 combined. Few players can stuff a stat sheet like Giannis, who has hit the over here in each of his last three games and will likely do so again in Game 5.
