For Thursday, Mike Barner has your MLB Betting Picks of the Day: Best Baseball Props Today 7/29/21. All odds were obtained from PointsBet.
Thursday has the potential to be wild across baseball with only one day left until the July 30 MLB trade deadline. As far as the games on the field go, they could also be impacted by potential moves. With that being said, I’ll try to improve on my season record of 15-11 (+2.19 units) with the following three player props to consider.

MLB Betting Props of the Day: Best Baseball Props Today 7/29/21
Fernando Tatis Jr., San Diego Padres vs. Colorado Rockies
To Record An RBI (+120)
Wager: 0.75 units (win would pay 1.65 units)
Tatis has certainly been productive at the plate, registering 69 RBIs across 85 games this season. This is a great matchup for him to potentially drive in another run with the Rockies expected to start Kyle Freeland, who has a 4.85 ERA and an even worse 5.35 FIP this season. Tatis has also had success versus Freeland, batting .333 with four RBIs in 15 career at-bats against him.
Max Muncy, Los Angeles Dodgers at San Francisco Giants
To Record A Hit (-250)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.4 units)
Muncy has been arguably the Dodgers’ best hitter this season, compiling a .413 wOBA and a .287 ISO. He’s also been hot lately, hitting safely in 12 of his last 14 games while batting .345 during that stretch. Muncy will look to record at least one more hit against Johnny Cueto, who’s allowed 94 hits in 88 innings this season as well as a .355 wOBA to left-handed hitters.
Robbie Grossman, Detroit Tigers vs. Baltimore Orioles
To Record A Hit (-230)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.43 units)
Grossman could be on the move before tomorrow’s trade deadline, as he’s a valuable switch-hitting outfielder on a team that has no shot at making the playoffs. If he’s in the lineup tonight, however, this could prove to be a profitable wager. Not only does Grossman have at least one hit in 15 of his last 19 games, but he also has a .374 wOBA and a 137 wRC+ against left-handed pitchers this season. He’ll be facing one tonight in Alexander Wells, who has a 1.55 WHIP across his three appearances with the Orioles this year.
