No. 3 LSU (30-5) will look to keep it rolling in a tough matchup vs No. 2 UCLA (27-6) in the Sweet 16 of March Madness on Saturday, March 30 at 1 p.m. ET at MVP Arena in Albany, NY.

The Tigers are coming off a blowout win over No. 11 Middle Tennessee, while the Bruins were able to squeak by No. 7 Creighton in the Round of 32.

It should be an exciting game, so let’s dive into the LSU vs Marquette odds and best bets for the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

LSU vs UCLA Odds

All NCAAW odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, current as of Thursday, March 28, at 1 p.m. ET.

  • Spread: LSU -3 (-110) • UCLA +3 (-110)
  • Moneyline: LSU (-155) • UCLA (+130)
  • Total: Over 145.5 (-110) • Under 145.5 (-110)

The Tigers come in as short favorites despite being the lower seed, which isn’t too surprising considering how dominant they’ve looked throughout the tournament so far.

The total is high at 145.5 points, but LSU has scored at least 70 points in 17 consecutive games, so the number feels just about right considering this Tigers offense.

After looking at the NCAAB odds for this matchup, we can project a narrow LSU win in a high-scoring game.

LSU vs UCLA Prediction

LSU 77, UCLA 71

LSU averaged 86.1 points per game this season, ranking third in the country.

Junior forward Angel Reese is a force to be reckoned with on the interior, putting up 18.7 points and 13.2 rebounds per game this year.

Reese could cause problems for UCLA, who just allowed Creighton senior forward to put up 14 points against them in the second round.

It’s also worth noting that LSU is +23.8 in point differential this year, which is third-best in the nation. UCLA comes in at 12th with +16.9 in this stat.

While we should see a close game, I have to give the edge to the Tigers in this spot.

LSU vs UCLA Best Bets

LSU -3 (-110) vs UCLA

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

The fact that LSU is favored in this game even though they’re the lower seed speaks volumes on how the market views these two sides.

The Tigers had a statement win in the second round, while the Bruins had a tough time with Creighton. I don’t see LSU losing this one outright, so I’ll take my chances that they come through and cover the three-point spread in my best college basketball bet today.

Over 145.5 Points (-110)

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

With LSU (86.1 points per game) and UCLA (77.6 points per game) each comfortably averaging more points than the listed total, it’s easy to see why I’m on the Over.

We don’t have to worry too much about a blowout slowing down the scoring in this game, since the Tigers are only favored by three points.
