Timberwolves vs Thunder Prop Bets

Last Updated: Apr 14, 2023

The Timberwolves and Thunder met four times in the regular season, and will meet for a fifth time this evening in a win-or-go-home scenario to determine the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Although the T-Wolves won three of the four matchups, I’m predicting a much different game in the play-in, which is reflected in both my team and player prop bets which you’ll find below.

Let’s meet our two players ahead of this terrific matchup between Minnesota and Oklahoma City.

Timberwolves vs Thunder Prop Odds

In addition to our NBA betting tips below, use our latest NBA lines to find the best props:

Timberwolves vs Thunder Player Props

Mike Conley: Over 14.5 Points (-115) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Conley has been playing some excellent basketball over the past few weeks and finds himself in a favorable spot against OKC. The Minnesota guard has also found his range over the past 10 games, shooting 50.2% from the field and 47.2% from behind the arc.

Conley’s usage and minutes have also steadily increased as of late having played at least 31 minutes in eight of his past 10 contests.

As a team, the Thunder rank 17th in oPPG and 15th in defensive efficiency (Per NBAstuffer), which should play right into the hands of a free-shooter like Conley. For these reasons, I’m confident wagering a single unit on this NBA bet of the day that sees Conley exceeding his point prop.

Timberwolves vs Thunder Team Props

Oklahoma City: Over 111.5 Team Total Points (-115) • DraftKings Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 Unit

Our team prop bet will target the Thunders’ total of 111.5 points after their masterful performance against the New Orleans Pelicans.

After reeling off a 68-point second half against the Pels, the Thunder have proven that they push the pace when need be, and score in bunches. What’s even more impressive is how efficient OKC was on offense against one of the peskiest defensive-minded teams in basketball.

The line of 111.5 total team points is a number the Thunder have exceeded in eight of the previous 11 games, and I’m banking on a repeat performance this evening at a reasonable price point.
