GameBlazers Hands-on Review

GameBlazers is a daily fantasy sports operator that adds a collectible trading platform and sports gaming to enhance the user experience. This brand-new site launched right at the beginning of the NFL season in September 2023.

This company is based in Florida, partnering with Full Moon Sports Solutions, a strategy consulting firm that also works with prominent sites such as NBC’s Rotoworld, Baseball America, and StatFox.

GameBlazers is also working with Raging Moose, a technology consulting business that has experience working with FIFA Ultimate Team, an extremely popular platform within this successful soccer video game, where users collect cards of their favorite players and use them in competitions.

This innovative combination of fantasy, collectibles, and gaming can help GameBlazers stand out from competitors and continue to grow in the foreseeable future.

In a space that has become highly saturated, GameBlazers offers a unique user experience.

What Is GameBlazers?

GameBlazers is a site where users can compete in both free and pay-to-play contests, using player cards they have collected through packs or bought on the marketplace.

Users in free competitions are awarded credits if they win, which can be used to purchase packs for more player cards.

Experience points are also given as prizes, allowing you to level up on the rewards system known as GameBlazers Pass. From here, you can receive cool perks like item cards, player cards, or credits. Item cards can be used to boost the stats of your players.

Pay-to-play contests are where you can win cash prizes, which can be withdrawn from your account or used to buy cards on the marketplace.

You’ll also find mini-games, the first of which involves you picking the winner of each matchup on a given week in the NFL season.

The other one is where you’re provided two players and choose which one will score more fantasy points that week.

For each correct pick in either mini-game, you receive 20 experience points. The player and team pick ’ems will change each week of the NFL season.

How Does GameBlazers Work?

GameBlazers can be acknowledged as fantasy sports meeting FIFA Ultimate Team. Let’s break it down so you fully understand how this innovative platform works.

1. When you sign up for an account, you’ll be prompted to select one of three “Starter Packs," which include 12 player cards.

Each player card is denoted by the following categories: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. There can be different cards of the same player. For example, you may have a Rare version of Josh Allen and a Legendary one.

Each card has a multiplier, ranging from 1x to 1.5x, which can affect their fantasy production. For example, let’s say that Christian McCaffrey scores 20 fantasy points, but you have his Legendary card, so you get the 1.5x multiplier, which increases his production to 30 points.

2. Once you claim your starter pack, you can enter a free or pay-to-play contest. From here, you’ll select one quarterback, two FLEX (wide receiver/running back/tight end), and one SuperFLEX (same as FLEX, except it includes quarterback).

Here’s the catch: each contest has a salary cap, and every one of your cards has an assigned salary. This restriction is put in place to try to even out the competition so that an experienced player with a vastly superior collection can’t use all of their best cards at the same time.

Another restriction worth noting is that you can’t use the same card in multiple contests. For example, if I’m starting Joe Burrow in one free contest, I cannot put that card in another competition.

3. As you continue to accumulate credits to purchase packs for more cards, you’ll have a larger roster available so that you can enter more contests.

You may also opt to fast-track this process by buying packs using real money instead of credits. For example, a Common pack will cost $20, while a Legendary comes out to $250. However, you are still able to buy a pack with credits, where costs range from 2,000 to 25,000.

This incentivizes users to continue playing in contests to accumulate credits and use them to purchase packs.

The more expensive the pack, the higher the probability of you securing a Legendary card. For example, with Common packs, you have a 1.4% chance of getting a Legendary, while that jumps to 23.98% on Legendary packs.

4. From here, you can buy or sell cards on the marketplace, which is a peer-to-peer exchange.

For example, a Justin Fields Legendary card (1.5x multiplier) is currently listed by another user for $150 USD.

The appeal of purchasing cards is that you can use them to win money in the pay-to-play competitions.

Is GameBlazers Legit?

GameBlazers is a legitimate sports gaming operator partnered with experienced firms in the industry, like Full Moon Sports Solutions and Raging Moon.

Financial transaction banking is safe and secure, with users prompted to fill out a Know Your Customer (KYC) form, including name, birth date, address, and social security number, to verify their identity when entering pay-to-play contests.

You must be at least 18 years old to sign up at the site and 21+ years old to play in pay-to-play competitions.

GameBlazers Signup Bonus

Find out what GameBlazers is offering as a signup bonus in the section below.

No-Deposit Bonus

No-Deposit Bonus is when you’re given credits upon registration. It lives up to the name, as there’s no need for a deposit to enjoy this reward.

GameBlazers provides you with a free starter pick as you begin your experience with this unique platform. This will allow you to join your first free or pay-to-play contest.

Deposit Bonus

Deposit bonuses are given when new users are provided with credits that match their initial deposit. Depending on the platform, this can range from $100 to $200.

GameBlazers is currently not offering a Deposit Bonus, but stay tuned to see if this emerges as the operator continues to grow.

Bet Credits

Bet credit options are awarded for offers where your first wager is matched if it loses. This is capped at a varying number, often ranging from $100 to $1,000.

GameBlazers does not currently offer a bet on the house, but you can try out their mini-games, where you pick winning teams or choose which player scores more fantasy points to win credits and experience points.

GameBlazers Promotions

In addition to providing new users with a free starter pack, GameBlazers has a Refer-a-Friend promotion.

Here’s how it works:

  • Enter your friend’s e-mail.
  • Once they sign up with your invite, you and your friend get 1,000 credits each.
  • You can invite up to 10 friends for a total of 10,000 credits.

This offer provides you with an opportunity to rack up credits to buy new packs. Stay up to date with the latest offers at GameBlazers and more with our betting promotions page.

My GameBlazers App Experience

GameBlazers is still in its early stages of development, having launched in September 2023. As such, there isn’t a mobile app available at this time, but we can project that to change in the foreseeable future.

However, desktop and mobile browsers function at a high level, so this didn’t detract from the user experience in any way.

Once you access the landing page and log into your account, you’ll see a sleek black-and-green trim as the background with a loop of the current NFL schedule towards the top of the screen.

Everything that GameBlazers has to offer is organized by sections, such as “Play," where you can join contests, and “Marketplace," where you can buy or sell cards.

What’s great is that your progress on the GameBlazers Pass is prominently displayed in a meter that fills up as you get closer to leveling up.

You will also see your current entries and the available contests to join.

Everything runs smoothly, especially when you’re deciding on your lineup. Each card features a photo of the player along with their points multiplier, so you’re fully informed about your collection.

This is a platform that provides an accessible user experience.

What Makes GameBlazers Different From the Competition?

What differentiates GameBlazers from the competition is that you’re playing fantasy football while collecting cards, either by purchasing packs or buying/selling on the marketplace.

Since each player has multiple cards, you have an incentive to continue to play to help secure their most valuable version. For example, getting a Legendary Austin Ekeler not only gives you a 1.5x multiplier, which could help you win contests, but you may also opt to sell it for real money on the marketplace.

This is an added wrinkle that you won’t find on other fantasy sites.

Those who enjoy the competitive aspect will be satisfied with the contests, where you include five players and try to score the most fantasy points.

The decision-making process is also kept here, as you can choose which players from your collection to use in your starting lineup. This is similar to starting or benching players in traditional fantasy football.

The collectible component of GameBlazers helps create a distinct platform within the fantasy and gaming market.

Should You Play at GameBlazers?

Yes, you should definitely play at GameBlazers because it combines the enjoyable aspects of fantasy football, such as starting players and winning competitions, with collectible trading.

It’s fun to open packs with the hope that you may get that Legendary card that is so valuable in the contests or on the marketplace.

You’ll have a blast as you continue to rack up credits and experience points, leveling up on the GameBlazers pass for cool perks and collecting new cards.

What’s also appealing is that there isn’t any commitment required. In traditional fantasy football, you must join a league and be ready to be active if you want to win.

At GameBlazers, you can play whenever you want without a need to stay on top of the latest news.

In this way, GameBlazers can appeal to both the casual and competitive fantasy football player, making it a terrific platform to try out.

How To Join GameBlazers

Joining GameBlazers is a simple process:

  1. Click our “Get Bonus" link to get to the GameBlazers home page.
  2. Create an account where you can sign in through Google or Discord.
  3. You will then receive a starter pack so that you can participate in contests.
  4. If you want to join a cash contest, provide your name, address, social security number, etc.
  5. Now, you’re ready to collect cards and compete for prizes.

Payment Methods Available

There is only one payment method for deposits and withdrawals at this time. Not to worry, though, as payment is efficient with limited waiting times.

Deposits

  • Credit Card: Fund your account using your credit card.

Please note that the minimum deposit is $1, and the maximum is $2,500.

Withdrawals

  • Online Banking: Include your bank, account number, and routing number to process your withdrawal, which will be sent directly to your account.

Withdrawals usually take up to three business days to finalize.

Available Leagues

GameBlazers is still in its early stages, so you can only play fantasy football at this time. We can project that perhaps more options will be available as the platform continues to grow.

Available Game Types

Here are the available game types at GameBlazers:

  • Free Contests: Use your collection to score the most fantasy points. The entry is free, and the prizes include credits and experience points.
  • Pay-to-Play Contests: Compete against others using your cards for a chance to win cash prizes. Your entry cost can vary, depending on the contest.
  • Mini Games: Complete both Player and Team Pick’Ems for experience points.
  • Marketplace: Buy or sell your cards with other users on the marketplace.
  • Buy Packs: Purchase new packs with credits or cash.

Rewards System

There’s a rewards system here called GameBlazers Pass, where your earned experience points can allow you to level up and receive cool perks like a starter pack, item cards, credits, packs, and more.

Here’s a sneak peek of some of your rewards:

  • Level 1: Starter Pack (received upon registration)
  • Level 2: Boost 1.0x to 1.1x
  • Level 3: 500 Credits
  • Level 4: Common Player (untradeable, so you can’t sell on marketplace)
  • Level 5: Common Pack
  • Level 6: Boost 1.1x to 1.2x
  • Level 7: 1,000 Credits

This tops out at level 20, where you receive a Rare Pack. The rewards system acts as an incentive for users, giving them a goal to work toward. This formula has worked so well in video games and should translate seamlessly to fantasy sports.
