The New York Giants had a successful first round in the 2022 NFL draft, selecting Kayvon Thibodeaux and Evan Neal. To continue addressing the offensive side of the ball, the Giants selected Wan’Dale Robinson out of Kentucky with the 43rd overall pick.
Robinson will give Daniel Jones another weapon to target in a pivotal season in his career after the Giants passed on picking up his fifth-year option.
Wan’Dale Robinson NFL Draft Outlook
It’s been rumored that the Giants have been looking to find a trade partner for Kadarius Toney (the team’s first-round pick in 2021) since new head coach Brian Daboll’s hire back in January.

With Toney’s future up in the air, Robinson now becomes a versatile offensive weapon for the Giants.
Daboll liked to use Isaiah McKenzie when he was with Buffalo, and I expect Robinson to be utilized in a similar manner in New York.
Robinson is an electric player with the ball in his hands and he could spend time on special teams to begin his career if he can’t earn snaps alongside Kenny Golladay and Sterling Shepard.
Wan’Dale Robinson Fantasy Football WR Tips
Given the uncertainties of Toney and Darius Slayton’s future with the Giants, it is unknown if Robinson will immediately contribute on offense.
That being said, Daboll will likely create some packages where Robinson is involved. With his ability to create, he could be a returner as a rookie.
Robinson could be a mid-round steal in rookie drafts if he can carve out an immediate role. I’d take a chance on his long-term outlook, regardless of Jones’ future at quarterback.
