Clint Capela To Get 8+ rebounds and Atlanta Hawks Win (+115)

The Spurs have allowed the sixth-most rebounds per game (54.7) and Capela has hauled in at least nine rebounds in a whopping 38 of 41 games this season, including 20 of 22 away contests. Both Atlanta and San Antonio allowed under 47.0 percent shooting in the respective road/home split that applies to them Thursday, and each also ranks in the bottom half of the league in team shooting percentage in those splits (Hawks-45.9 percent/Spurs-46.0 percent).
That should mean a healthy amount of opportunities for Capela on the glass overall. As far as the Hawks’ chances of emerging victorious, Atlanta is actually a road favorite (-1) at multiple sportsbooks as of late Thursday morning, and although they’re just 12-15 on the road, the Spurs are 12-14 on their home floor

Paul George will sit out Thursday’s game for the Clippers due to a foot injury, while Patrick Beverley (knee) and Serge Ibaka (back) will also sit out. Leonard is averaging 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.9 steals per 36 minutes without his trio of teammates on the floor while posting a hefty 30.5 percent usage rate.
Leonard did fall short of this benchmark in his first game against the Nuggets (33 combined points, rebounds and assists) on Christmas Day, but all three of his aforementioned currently injured teammates were available for that contest. Leonard has 40 and 38 combined points, rebounds and assists during the first two games of George’s current absence, and he averaged 29.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in four other games George missed back in the first half of February.
