March 17 NBA DFS Picks: Stack Luka Doncic & Kawhi Leonard For Fantasy Points

Last Updated: Mar 17, 2021

March 17 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 3/17/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Wednesday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

March 17 NBA DFS Picks

Philadelphia 76ers at Milwaukee Bucks

MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF, Milwaukee Bucks: More Than 58.5 Fantasy Points

Antetokounmpo has exceeded 58.5 MKF points in exactly half of his 38 games, and he’ll have the luxury of not having to deal with Joel Embiid (knee) in Wednesday’s matchup. The Greek Freak also averaged 28.0 points, 17.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists across 31.3 minutes in three games against Philly last season, and Antetokounmpo is averaging a whopping 62.7 MKF points over the last 10 games. In what should be a wire-to-wire battle, I like Antetokounmpo staying involved long enough for the “More” to hit.

Ben Simmons, PG, Philadelphia 76ers: More Than 41.5 Fantasy Points

This is admittedly a tough call to make, as Simmons struggled offensively last season against the Bucks on the way to averaging just 10.3 points per contest and will now have to deal with Jrue Holiday’s stingy defense. The Bucks are allowing the fourth-lowest offensive efficiency (24.3 percent) to point guards, and Simmons has been under 41.5 MKF points in six straight contests. However, Milwaukee is allowing 51.1 MKF points per game to PGs over the last seven, while Simmons is averaging 46.1 MKF points without Embiid on the floor this season. With Milwaukee and Philly also playing at a top-10 pace, I envision Simmons being involved enough here to exceed the benchmark.

Los Angeles Clippers at Dallas Mavericks

MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 3x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

Luka Doncic PG, Dallas Mavericks: More Than 52.5 Fantasy Points

Doncic just went off for 60 MKF points against the Clippers on Monday night, and he’s now scored 107.8 MKF points across just 64 total minutes versus Los Angeles. As was the case Monday night, this game should be a wire-to-wire affair, and Dallas will be looking for some revenge after dropping a 109-99 decision. The Clips will remain without Patrick Beverley (knee) as well, boosting Doncic’s chances of exceeding 49.5 MKF points for the 17th time in 36 games this season.

Kawhi Leonard, SF, Los Angeles Clippers: More Than 44.5 Fantasy Points

Leonard also thrived in Monday night’s game, posting 53.1 MKF points across a 40-minute workload. Kawhi has surpassed 44.5 MKF points in 19 of 33 games overall this season, and he enters Wednesday’s game on an extended stretch of hot shooting. Leonard has drained 52.0 percent of his attempts during that span, including 41.4 percent from three-point range. Leonard accomplished his strong effort Monday on the second game of a back-to-back set, and with a day off yesterday, I like him to at least narrowly exceed the 44.5 benchmark Wednesday.
