2021 Brewers Prop Bets: Milwaukee Futures Odds & Picks For Christian Yelich
For the 2021 MLB preseason, The Game Day has compiled 2021 Brewers Prop Bets, including Milwaukee Futures Odds & Picks. I’ll list a few 2021 Brewers Player Prop and Team Prop wagers that MLB bettors can target.
The Milwaukee Brewers are NL Central contenders, thanks to the mediocrity of the division. Additionally, superstar Christian Yelich has a few props worth wagering consideration.

Christian Yelich To Win 2021 NL MVP
Bet $20, Payout $260
I didn’t include Yelich among my favorite NL MVP picks, but he’s in the next tier of options. He’s already claimed the hardware in the 2018 season.
Remarkably, he was even better in 2019. Yelich hit more homers, stole more bases, produced a higher batting average, on-base percentage, slugging, wRC+, and bested his 7.7 FanGraphs Wins Above Replacement (fWAR) with a 7.8 fWAR, per FanGraphs.
Yelich’s two-year fWAR total of 15.5 in 2018 and 2019 combined is the fourth-highest mark, highest among players who played in the NL those years, and second-highest among players who are in the NL now. I forgive his lackluster season — by his standards — last year, making him reasonably priced.

Christian Yelich To Lead MLB In Home Runs For 2021
Bet $20, Payout $620
While Yelich’s NL MVP Award odds are fair, his odds for winning the homer title are a smoking deal. He’s, without question, my favorite bet to win the dinger title this year — betting odds considered.

Christian Yelich To Hit Over 34.5 Home Runs In 2021
Bet $20, Payout $38
Whether you’re as bullish on Yelich’s homer outlook relative to all players as I am or not, his over for homers is a great bet. Yelich smacked 36 homers in 651 plate appearances in 2018 and slugged 44 in 580 plate appearances in 2019.
Last year’s 12 homers in 247 plate appearances would leave his pace short of hitting more than 34.5 homers this year, but his exit velocity remains elite. He ranked tied for ninth among qualified hitters last year in flyball/line-drive exit velocity (97.1 mph) and set a new personal best in hard-hit percentage (55.6%), according to Baseball Savant.
The stud outfielder’s home ballpark also aids his odds of reaching his over. The left-handed batter park factor for homers at American Family Field (formerly known as Miller Park) is 1.080, per FantasyPros.

Milwaukee Brewers To Win 2021 NL Central
Bet $20, Payout $95
The NL Central is wide open. The Pittsburgh Pirates are the basement team. The Chicago Cubs salary dumped Yu Darvish, appearing more likely to firesale personnel than make a surprising push. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Reds lost the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner, Trevor Bauer, in free agency. The St. Louis Cardinals are a rock-solid squad and in the mix to win the division, but they have question marks that could derail their chances of winning the division.
The Brewers aren’t without their faults, but having a rotation fronted by Bandon Woodruff and 2020-breakout Corbin Burnes, a bullpen with elite relievers Devin Williams and Josh Hader, and a lineup with Yelich is a foundation for challenging for the division title. Keston Hiura returning to 2019 form, Lorenzo Cain rejoining the club after opting out last year as well as bouncing back from a disappointing 2019 at the dish and contributing his standard plus defense, and getting more plus defense up the middle from free-agent addition Kolten Wong are among the keys for them winning the division.
Additionally, before Justin Turner re-signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Brewers reportedly made an offer. The Brewers appear to be a team willing to continue to make incremental roster improvements before the season or perhaps trading for help if they’re in the mix this year if you read the tea leaves.
As the third-betting favorite behind the Cardinals (+105) and Reds (+325), the Brewers offer betting value to win the NL Central. Their roster has too many holes to wager on winning the National League or World Series, though.
