The Divisional Round of the 2022 NFL Playoffs has come and gone, which means it’s time to look ahead to Conference Championship weekend.

The third round of the NFL Playoffs is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 30 with a two-game slate that kicks off at 3:05 p.m. ET.

Checking Conference Championship early lines will give prospective football bettors a solid idea of trends that the sportsbooks and the public will follow.

To offer our NFL readers perspective, we’ve gathered some NFL Conference Championship Opening Lines and Odds, including moneyline, against the spread, Over/Under, and implied total points score information to start your betting off right.

Note: Conference Championship NFL gameday odds and lines are current as of 10 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 23, and provided by Caesars Sportsbook.

NFC Championship Early Lines for 49ers @ Rams

  • Moneyline: 49ers (+145) @ Rams (-170)
  • Spread: 49ers +3.5 (-120) @ Rams -3.5 (+100)
  • Over/Under Points Total: Over 46.5 (-110)/Under 46.5 (-110)
  • Implied Score: Rams 25, 49ers 21.5

This will mark the third meeting of the season between these NFC West rivals.

The 49ers have won both matchups, a 31-10 drubbing in Week 10 and a 27-24 overtime nailbiter to clinch a playoff berth. Since, San Francisco has been the NFC cinderella, defeating two higher seeds in the Dallas Cowboys and the No. 1 Green Bay Packers to place themselves on the cusp of a Super Bowl trip to — ironically, the Rams’ home stadium.

Los Angeles’ immense trench play has roared in wins over the Arizona Cardinals and defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers — barely, despite another near-epic Bucs comeback by Tom Brady.

Rams WR Cooper Kupp and QB Matthew Stafford made for an elite pair, as has happened for nearly all season, in that win over TB, connecting on nine passes for 183 yards and one score.

San Francisco has succeeded despite erratic play from QB Jimmy Garoppolo, leaning on Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel‘s rushing along with Samuel and George Kittle as receivers.

The Niners’ special teams took over in their win against Green Bay, and pass-rusher Nick Bosa will keep this one close between the two familiar foes.

As shown by the tight moneylines and spread, they’re nearly toss-ups. I’m going with a total points ticket out of the gate.

NFC Championship Early Bet: 49ers @ Rams OVER 46.5 (-110)

Wager: 1.1 units to win 1 unit

The track of SoFi Stadium should play quickly for these quick-twitch offenses in the enclosed stadium’s Super Bowl 56 audition, making this an easy NFL bet of the day.

Blindly blaming the weather for Jimmy G’s issues under center Saturday would be dismissing his mediocre profile as a passer, but more neutral playing conditions should allow the Niners to challenge more frequently downfield and not rely as often on yards after the catch.

Even with his recent fumbling issues, Cam Akers has rejuvenated the Rams’ run game, which should help them to keep their pace of play dialed up.

AFC Championship Early Lines for Bengals @ Chiefs

  • Moneyline: Bengals (+250) @ Chiefs (-320)
  • Spread: Bengals +7 (-120) @ Chiefs -7 (+100)
  • Over/Under Points Total: Over 53.5 (-110)/Under 53.5 (-110)
  • Implied Score: Chiefs 30.25, Bengals 23.25

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase‘s underdogs ran through the Las Vegas Raiders and survived a tense, plodding battle with the top-seeded Tennessee Titans.

The Chiefs played in arguably one of the greatest playoff games in NFL history. They pulled off a miracle comeback victory over the Buffalo Bills, traveling 44 yards in 11 seconds to set up a game-tying field goal, then winning in overtime when Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce connected on a TD.

Kansas City lost 34-31 at Cincinnati in Week 17 as the Bengals propelled themselves to the AFC North title.

AFC Championship Early Bet: Bengals @ Chiefs OVER 53.5 (-110)

Wager: 1.1 units to win 1 unit

This is a high total, but these two offenses can meet it — they already did three weeks ago. And who would question Mahomes, Kelce, Tyreek Hill and co. meeting their end with 30 or so points at home?

One of the biggest issues Cincy faced versus Tennessee was Burrow’s offensive line becoming a turnstile and letting him be sacked nine times. While the Chiefs’ defense has improved with the arrival of Melvin Ingram, Burrow has displayed poise on the road despite being under fire.

Cincy has the personnel and playbook to meet their end — even if it means more screen passes to Joe Mixon and a greater emphasis away from Chase toward Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. This isn’t a stretch, given the questionable second level of the Chiefs’ pass defense exploited by four-TD, 201-yard Gabriel Davis from Josh Allen on Sunday.

Bengals-Chiefs Betting Tip ATS

I’m inclined to wait for the ATS hook and bet a Bengals +7.5 spread or better if that pops up. Keep an eye on the line movement and pounce.
