Rams vs. Packers Week 12 NFL Prop Bets For Cooper Kupp, Double Result, & More

Last Updated: Nov 28, 2021

Week 12 features the game of the week matchup between the 7-3 Los Angeles Rams and the 8-3 Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The last time we saw these two teams face off was in January in the NFL Divisional Round of the playoffs.

The Rams enter week 12 coming off a two-game losing skid and a bye. While the Packers are coming off a loss which is the second one in the last three games. These two will be looking for an imperative “W" in the race for NFC’s number one seed.

Let’s dive into the Week 12 prop bets for this Game of the Week candidate.

Rams vs. Packers Prop Bets: NFL Week 12 Prop Betting Picks

Cooper Kupp Total Receptions: Over 7.5 (-150) at Caesars

Wager: 2 Units

The 2021 NFL season’s first 1,000-yard receiver Cooper Kupp averages 8.5 receptions per game on the season. Not to mention 11.6 targets per game which is absolutely incredible. Most of this was during the time the Rams have a healthy receiver room but now with no Robert Woods, we could see even those crazy numbers improve.

In the last five games, Kupp has had double-digit targets in four of them and the one in which he didn’t was a blowout in which he sat out a quarter and a half of the game. In those same four games, he did have double-digit targets, Kupp went for at least nine catches.

If this prop was over/under 8.5, that would be steeper but even still I probably take it. Kupp is the most dominant wideout in the game right now and with major playoff implications on the line against the Packers on the road, I firmly expect Matthew Stafford to lean on him early and often. It’s why I am making this my NFL bet of the day.

Packers: Over 23.5 Total Points (+100) at Caesars

Wager: 1 Unit

The Packers may have injuries galore but they are still a competitive and talented football team even without those pieces. We saw it last week, they may not have won on the road against the Vikings but they put up over 30 points in that loss. Green Bay averages over 25 points scored per home game. They have plenty of options whether it’s Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones (if he plays), AJ Dillon, Davante Adams and not to mention the deep threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling who caught a bomb of an 80-yard touchdown last week.

Essentially the Packers have enough to score quickly. So, should the Rams get off to a hot start, the Packers could match their firepower especially against a more conservative soft shell coverage-based defensive scheme that likes to bend and have lately been breaking quite a bit.

I expect the Packers to go over their total points in this one and for me this is a bet I advise making.

Double Result Rams/Rams (+140) at Caesars

Wager: 1.25 Units

I think the Packers are a very good football team but they are a team that notoriously starts slow while the Rams typically start fast. The Rams’ identity as a team is to take control and hold onto it. If you think that sounds silly it’s understandable but there’s a reason Sean McVay is 43-0 when leading at halftime. That is always the plan.

In addition to that, the Rams average more points per quarter than the Packers. They typically get off to hot starts and hang on, unlike the last two games.

The reason to go double result in favor of the Rams here is that I do think the Rams win this ball game and the Rams rarely win games where they don’t lead at the half as they are 6-18 under McVay when in that situation.

I expect the Rams to get off to an early lead and ride it the rest of the way winning you the double result.

Rams 7-12 pts Winning Margin (+480) at Caesars

Wager: 1.25 Units

As you know from above, I do have the Rams winning but I have the win being in 33-26 fashion. I expect the Rams to win this game at Lambeau and take advantage of the fact that the Packers are banged up all over their offensive line. I expect that you will see Aaron Donald, Leonard Floyd, and Von Miller get to Aaron Rodgers who is playing with a fractured toe. I also expect that the Rams will come out of the bye looking much more alive on both the offensive and defensive side of the football.

This won’t be a blowout or anything like that but the Rams are in desperation mode and winning by a touchdown and an extra point is where I have this game going which would get you a healthy payout on this pick.
