Sunday Night Football Predictions Week 10 | SNF Picks & Chiefs vs Raiders Best Bets

Last Updated: Nov 14, 2021

Don’t count out the Kansas City Chiefs just yet. While the former AFC champions have been far from perfect this season, the Chiefs are 5-4 and could ultimately be in first place once Week 10 is over.

The Chiefs have scored less than 20 points in their last three games. We’re not used to this Kansas City offense struggling. However, the defense, despite starting off the year looking terrible, has figured things out to help the Chiefs win games.

On the other hand, the Raiders are going through a lot this season. Former coach Jon Gruden resigned, while the Raiders had to let go of both Henry Ruggs and Damon Arnettte in the last two weeks due to varying off-the-field issues.

Although the Chiefs are struggling, the Raiders are in much more trouble heading into this game.

With that said, here are our picks and predictions for SNF Week 10.

All NFL gameday odds and lines current as of 2:00 p.m. ET on Friday, November 12.

Sunday Night Football Prediction Week 10

The AFC West is currently extremely tight, as all four teams are heading into Week 10 with exactly five wins. The Chargers and Raiders are 5-3, while the Chiefs and Broncos are 5-4.

However, the Chiefs are 1-4 in conference play while the Raiders stand at 4-1. Las Vegas did lose on the road against the New York Giants last week, though distractions likely played a role in their defeat. Still, the Raiders are struggling.

Las Vegas is scoring 24.5 points while allowing 23.6 points per game. The Raiders haven’t run the ball much and have instead relied on quarterback Derek Carr to make plays. Last week, he was intercepted multiple times and just didn’t perform well overall.

Defensively, the Raiders have not been good stopping the run, but they have a solid pass rush and a secondary that is capable of getting stops. Overall, Las Vegas allows 354.3 total yards and 220.8 yards passing per game.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs offense is still struggling. Kansas City is allowing 25.2 points and scoring just 24.6 points per game this season, giving them a negative point differential. Nobody expected this to happen this far into the season.

However, the Chiefs have won three of their last four games, and that’s really what matters at this point. Kansas City has the momentum compared to the Raiders. Things are likely going to start unraveling for Las Vegas.

The Raiders easily have the better defense, but the Chiefs have the better offense and it really can’t get worse than it’s been. Look for the Chiefs to find their offense a little bit more in this one and take down Las Vegas.

Sunday Night Football Best Bets Week 10

SNF Best Bet: Chiefs -2.5 (-115) at Caesars

Despite the Chiefs struggles on the offensive end, they’re still averaging over 400 yards per game, most of which have come through the air.

If the Chiefs can get the run going, it’ll really open things up for Patrick Mahomes in play action. If he’s able to run boot legs and get out of the pocket on the run and find receivers, it’s going to be a long day for the Raiders.

The Raiders, on the other hand, are just about to unravel. After losing on the road to a far-from-talented Giants squad, it seems Las Vegas may begin to spiral.

Take the Chiefs here and make this your NFL bet of the day.

SNF Best Bet: Under 52 Total Points (-110) at Caesars

While the Kansas City offense is struggling, the defense is actually starting to figure some things out. They brought good looks against Jordan Love last week and made things difficult for him all day.

The Raiders have struggled to make tackles in the open field, but the pass rush and secondary should be able to hold the Chiefs away from the end zone long enough to keep this game under.

I have the score total pegged around 48, so it’s going to be extremely close. While there’s not much value in this bet, from my perspective, I’d feel more comfortable rolling with the Under.
