NRFI Prediction Today
St. Louis Cardinals at New York Mets (7:10 p.m. ET first pitch)
RHP Adam Wainwright @ LHP Rich Hill
No-Run First Inning: Cardinals @ Mets (-125)
In a meeting between two teams in the thick of the NL Wild Card race, we have a weirdly solid pitching matchup between two old arms in Adam Wainwright and Rich Hill.
Both have proven so far this year that age is but a number, as Waino’s ERA is sub-3 and Hill’s resides in the mid-3’s.
With two offenses that tend to take a bit to get going, I’m all over this NRFI pick today.
