CFB Week 1 PointsBet Promo: No-Juice Spreads On Top-25 NCAAF Games

Last Updated: Sep 3, 2021

College Football is finally back! With a full Week 1 slate beginning on Thursday, September 2, there is money to be had for all PointsBet Customers!

No Juice Spreads CFB Week 1

For NCAAF games this weekend involving teams ranked in the AP top 25 preseason poll, PointsBet has a special offer that Lizzo won’t like since it’s a no juice promo. But with +100 offered on both sides of the spread, you’ll be feeling good as hell when you win.

On a typical spread, both sides are offered at -110 odds. That means to be a winning bettor, you must win 52.38% of the time on bets that win only 50% of the time. With +100 odds, even a blind chimpanzee wouldn’t lose money in the long run since there is no house advantage.

I’ll cover the terms of the offer below along with my favorite NCAAF Top 25 Week 1 spread bets to use this PointsBet promotion on. To claim this PointsBet special offer, you can access it through the Promotions page on PointsBet’s website or mobile app after signing up / logging in.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Only available to customers in CO, IA, IL, IN, MI, NJ, and WV
  2. The term “No Juice" refers to 0% vig or 0% book margin
  3. Normal book limits apply
  4. 21+ only
  5. Pre-game only

No Juice CFB Week 1 Best Bets

Penn State (19) To Cover Spread (+5.5) at Wisconsin (12)

Penn State’s struggles were well documented last year when they lost their first five games after being ranked seventh during the preseason. The Nittany Lions recovered to win their final four games, however, and will return 16 starters this season.

Wisconsin was also a disappointment last year, as they only went 3-3 within the Big Ten. While they return 17 starters this season, starting quarterback Jack Coan is not among them after transferring to Notre Dame.

Against a Penn State defense that allowed only 17.3 points per game over its final four games, the Badgers’ offense should struggle. According to Phil Steele’s ratings, PSU has the 15th-best linebacking unit, 17th-best defensive line, and 16th-best defensive backfield in the country.

Based on the strength of the Nittany Lions’ defense, I expect them to either win outright as +180 underdogs or lose a low-scoring game by less than a touchdown.

Oregon (11) To Cover Spread (-21) vs. Fresno State

Fresno State routed UConn 45-0 in Week 0, but virtually anyone could have held the rusty Huskies to a donut in that game. This week, they have a much tougher matchup on their hands when they travel to the Autzen Zoo in Oregon to face the 11th-ranked team in the country.

Oregon is a trendy pick to potentially win the Pac-12 and sneak into the college football playoff. Whether or not that comes to pass, they still have a lopsided edge over Fresno State in Saturday’s matchup.

The Ducks like to run up the score, and that’s exactly what they’ll do at home against the Bulldogs. They play in arguably the weakest Power 5 conference, so they need to stand out with a statement win to gain national recognition. Three touchdowns is a big spread, but Oregon has the offensive firepower to cover it.

Texas (21) To Cover Spread (-8.5) vs. Louisiana (23)

Last year the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns opened the season beating a ranked Iowa State team 31-14 as an 11-point underdog. I am less optimistic about their chances in Week 1 this year, however.

Outside of last season, the Sun Belt Conference has a woeful non-conference record. In fact, the only conference that the SBC has a winning record against is the MAC. Against the Big 12 where Texas plays, the Sun Belt is 9-70.

At home with a booming offense that averaged 42.7 points per game last season, the Longhorns should beat the Ragin’ Cajuns pretty handily.
