Picks in this article

LeBron James, PF, Los Angeles Lakers at Milwaukee Bucks

Over 41.5 points + rebounds + assists (-114)

Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.88)

Throughout his career, James has been known to “coast” a little bit during the regular season. He tries to save his legs and energy for the postseason and judging by his four rings, it seems like that has been a successful strategy.

However, he does turn things up a little in big games and during nationally televised contests. Their game against the Bucks on Thursday night certainly fits that criteria, so don’t be surprised if we get another vintage LeBron James performance in this game.

At PointsBet, his points + rebound + assists total sits at 41.5. On the season, he is averaging 24-8-7 which would be slightly under that total. But again, with this being a primetime game against a quality opponent, don’t be surprised if this is one of those 30-10-10 games from James as he looks to show the rest of the league who is still the best player in the NBA.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Lakers

To record a triple-double (+900)

Wager: 0.5 units (win would pay 5.00)

As previously mentioned, the Bucks-Lakers contest on Thursday is a primetime game and one of only three games on the schedule. Coming off a rough loss to the Nets on Monday night, Antetokounmpo will look to bounce back in a big way. He is a 9-1 underdog to record a triple-double in this game and that feels a bit low considering how often the ball is in his hands.

While he has just two games this season of double-digit assists, he’s going to need to become a bigger playmaker in a game like this if they want to knock-off the Lakers. Look for the two-time MVP to become more of a facilitator on Thursday night and potentially record a triple-double in this heavyweight matchup.

Zion Williamson, PF, New Orleans Pelicans at Utah Jazz

Over 25.5 points (+130)

Wager: 0.5 units (win would pay 1.15)

Williamson has been on a tear over the last three weeks as he’s averaged 26.3 points per game since the new year. He’s shooting nearly 62 percent from the field as he is finding ways to be productive in this offense. His three-point shooting still is non-existent as he has yet to make on this season.

But Williamson has found ways to still score into the mid-20s on a night-to-night basis. Coming off back-to-back 30 point games, Williamson is +130 to score over 25.5 points on Thursday night. He will be facing the No. 3 ranked scoring defense in the Utah Jazz during that game, but he was able to score 32 points in 35 minutes in their last meeting.

Don’t be afraid to bet on Williamson here during this nationally televised game on TNT.
