Buccaneers Prop Bets 2021: Best Tampa Bay Odds + Betting Picks

Last Updated: Jul 28, 2021

The reigning Super Bowl champions are returning all of their starters from their 2020 season in historical fashion — it has never been done before. As a result, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are among the favorites to not only advance to a second consecutive Super Bowl but also walk away victorious. The Game Day is here to preview some of the best Buccaneers prop bets for 2021.

Buccaneers Prop Bets 2021: Team Bet Picks

Buccaneers to Win Super Bowl LVI (+650)

The Buccaneers are returning all of their starters from last year’s Super Bowl win in an unprecedented fashion. What’s more, they also retained WR Antonio Brown and signed RB Giovani Bernard, adding a viable pass-catching threat out of the backfield. Led by QB Tom Brady, the Buccaneers should have no issue making another run despite the fact that they are slated with the second-best odds to repeat as NFL Champions. Only the Kansas City Chiefs have better odds.

While Tampa Bay’s offense steals the show, it is their menacing and opportunistic defense that makes the difference in the cold months. The Tampa defense yielded the eighth-fewest points per game (22.1) while boasting a +8 turnover differential, good for sixth-best amongst their peers. Considering their player personnel, you’re stealing the Bucs at (+650). They should really have (+500) odds, which is exactly what the Chiefs are holding.

Best 2021 Regular-Season Record: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+600)

For all the reasons I mentioned above, the Buccaneers have a legit shot to emerge with the NFL’s best record. In 2020, the Bucs posted an 11-5 mark with Brady entering his first season in a new system and new climate after spending 20 years in his previous scenario. And if you want to consider the strength of the schedule, Tampa received a break there, too. Despite being the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Buccaneers have the fourth-easiest schedule in 2021.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers To Win NFC South (-200)

I’ve pegged the Buccaneers to win the NFC South all offseason and I will sink with that ship. In addition to all of the reasons I have already mentioned through this piece, we also have to consider the fact that Tampa gets the Carolina Panthers with Sam Darnold, the Atlanta Falcons with a new head coach and no Julio Jones, and the New Orleans Saints with no Drew Brees and Michael Thomas for an extended period. I wouldn’t normally want to call the Bucs a lock to win the NFC South, but I will for 2021.

Buccaneers Prop Bets 2021: Player Bet Picks

Tom Brady To Win AP NFL MVP (+1200)

While Aaron Rodgers won the AP NFL MVP award in 2020, you could make a strong case for Tom Brady in 2021. Considering Brady led the Buccaneers to 11 wins and a Super Bowl in his first season with the team while throwing for 4,633 yards, a 40:12 TD/INT ratio and a 65.7% completion rate, there is a world in which he surpasses his 2020 marks in 2021.

Brady will have a full offseason with Tampa Bay, plus, every starter from last year’s championship team. If Brady does, in fact, exceed his 2020 feats, he will be in the conversation for the fourth MVP honor of his illustrious career.

Tom Brady To Lead NFL In Passing Yards (+750)

Tom Brady threw for the fifth-most passing yards of his career last season (4,633). He managed to do so without a full offseason in a brand new system. We also have to consider the fact that WR Chris Godwin missed four games and WR Antonio Brown did not join the team until Week 9. While Brown played in eight games, it did take him a few weeks to get acclimated with the offense.

Brown and Godwin are expected to be full-gos from the start this time around, and if Brady can play like he did in the second half of 2020, there is a case to be made that he leads the NFL in passing yards.

Bruce Arians To Win Coach of the Year Award (+2200)

The only way I see Bruce Arians winning Coach of the Year is if he leads the Buccaneers to a second-straight Super Bowl while possibly only managing one or two losses on the year. Otherwise, there are just way too many coaches that will be in the conversation for this award for him to win it. His team is just way too loaded for him to be considered for the award without doing something special.
