NBA Bet Prop Picks of the Day: Best Basketball Props Today 6/23/21

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks

Player To Score The Most Points (-150)

Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.67 units) Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered massive scoring numbers in the previous round against the Brooklyn Nets, notching at least 30 points in six of the seven games and averaging 31.9 points per contest. He averaged 23.1 field-goal attempts per game and should continue to be the focal point of Milwaukee’s offense moving forward. Trae Young will be his main competition for most points scored in this game, but he has a tough matchup against Jrue Holiday. Young only played in one of Atlanta’s three regular-season games against Milwaukee and was held to 15 points on 3-for-17 shooting from the field. I think he struggles with his shot again here while Giannis threatens to score 30+ again.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks

Under 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (-200)

Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.5 units) Even with his huge scoring production against Brooklyn, Giannis hit fewer than two three-pointers in four of the seven games and averaged just 1.1 treys per game — the same as his regular-season average. He was also only 1-for-16 from behind the arc in the first round against the Miami Heat, so he hasn’t been a substantial threat from deep in the postseason. Long-range shooting isn’t his preferred method of scoring, either, as he prefers to overpower opponents with his size and athleticism. Like most teams, Atlanta doesn’t really have anyone who matches up well with Giannis, so I think he’ll be more focused on attacking the rim and dominating the paint rather than settling for threes. Accordingly, don’t expect him to be much of a factor from downtown tonight.
